FRAUDULENT BIBLE VENDORS. BEWARE.
Not every Bible claiming to be an Authorized 1611 King James Bible is authentic and without corruptions.

Can I ask a question about something I’ve found in. James 1:22. In one version of the 1611 it says “receiving” the other says “deceiving” Which one is right? I’m just using a version downloaded to my phone which doesn’t have a lot of detail about who made it so I wouldn’t know any wider unless instructed to be honest
"deceiuing" is correct. Some online versions have many errors. Always check the Hendrickson Edition or the Oxford Quatercentenary. "receinuing" makes no sense.
I found out that one of my coworkers reads the KJV. I gonna give him a card introducing him to the 1611. He’s a really cool guy with whom I get along really well. We also share interest in the German language, so we have some cool things to talk about.
I'll be praying that he receives the 1611.
i have a WhyIsTheSkyBlue problem that just wont go-away how does God ponder, given that he is all-knowing? if the answer(s) already there, then what is the experience of it arriving? what does knowing feel like from the inside, when you dont do the process (revealing/discovering) part (does/always knows instead)? best i can come up with, is that it's attention/being-with what is already known (everything), and not trying or learning, because either of those would be incomplete - and God's thoughts would be incomplete with those two also (which they cant be) the process of thinking (incompleteness), requires finiteness (like us) no , i dont know where to put this post
I asked Grok to give me what the church fathers and such have said about this issue to get me thinking about it. They also provided commonly cited Bible citations. This is not to give definitive answers but just to provide me some avenues of thought to explore. I will just give you what thoughts it elicited from me. Usually in the West they stress that God‘s knowledge and wisdom never changes and are completely bound up with his eternal substance and essence. Thus they say that God doesn’t have a development of thoughts the way we do. I’m reminded of a verse in the Bible where it says that God repented, so that’s also an interesting matter to ponder. But people in the East have a way in which they have a distinction between the essence of God and the energies of God, the former of which wherein we have no participation but the latter of which wherein we have participation. Thus we can have God grace us with fruits of the Spirit from his energies and operations and can be transformed by his energies in heaven, but we will never have the same essence. In short, we can be righteous, but not be Righteousness. It makes me imagine that God may eternally have a variety of perfect thoughts, and we relate to God through our response to such thoughts. Perhaps when God „repents,“ that just means we are participating in a relationship through a perfect thought that differs from the other eternal thought in which we had before participated. This is certainly a difficult question, as we are not God, but it is humbling to attempt to even ponder it. If anyone has any biblical reproofs, that would be interesting to also consider. I would love to read what others have to say.
(unrelated). interesting what is going on with the churches in poland https://www.euronews.com/2026/04/09/polands-catholic-church-prepares-parishes-as-crisis-centres-amid-war-fears https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5brvkJIg7wI
step 1, do not ask a vendor. id rather see for myself, and be out-of-pocket, and have to replace something, than trust what some-guy said because his sales benefit him. sleuthing for sure, but not asking.
if the echo doesnt feedback properly, and it doesnt seem to be "replying to itself" right, then there's probably something wrong with it [bible]...so check anyways...(im not sure i know the words, or have enough of any words, to name or describe what this is)... calibrated: https://youtu.be/n18AaApsAPQ?t=52 (visual metaphor lol, but also has absolutely bangin' music) --- a few times i've accidentally been shown fakebible verses (technical/internet issues), or have been given "christian calendars" as a gift, or heard someone quoting a fakebible verse (even by their own mistake also),, and wanted to vomit. which happens in dreams too, i have found: the "bad table" with the "bad wine" and the "bad food"..looking up and seeing evil staring in face, and what they are doing with the sleight of hands (replacing the good things with bad things), just out of sight, and then obvious-TMI after that. whole room had evilness. deception. but most of all, i get an eerie feeling, and the text feels like something terrible. a disaster, or something so utterly perverted, cannot look upon it. like vibrating-horror (that others trust in it). but that's nothing compared to the real-bible, when it hits. there's somehow NO text to get inside of, in the fake ones (especially very divergent translations). there somehow IS, in the real one.
Thank you again Reg, sharing this for those with ears to hear that I can reach.
