Helga Armor Retexture Vanilla & PBR [LM]
I wanted to port my older retexture to PBR but I am gonna be honest, I am breaking on it. Changing shaders, redoing layers, dealing with massive projects you have everything forgotten about. Dealing with work you have outgrown. Be it my experience, be it Substance Painter having major updates like the ribbon path, warp to geometry, OpenPBR and much more. But as well me switching to PBR with all it's possibilities and benefits.
So I wanted to make a new one. I always want to honor the original and yet make it my own. Most importantly I wanted to add logic and realism to seams. How would seams needed to be present, with the cut of the cloth.
Screenshots are made and mod is tested in Jiaye AIO (AIO-2026-05-28T17-09Z) and Rudy ENB for NAT3.
A word to the thumbnail. The middle is a Substance Painter render run on ACES profile, and left and right are in game with Jiaye's AIO / Community Shaders, which provides the same render profiles. Though even without using identical profiles we will end up with very similar results, within Substance to CS pipeline. Especially since OpenPBR was introduced to Substance Painter, and we actually can see what we do with Fuzz and Coat.
It shows how much CS / Jiaye's is oriented on industry standards. It means what I make in Substance will be ending up in game. I felt this is a good showcase of the benefit of using a system that goes hand in hand with applications we use to create assets for games.
This is my favorite dress. I will maybe retex it again at some point. It's like replaying your favorite game.
Info:
textures are 4k
Vanilla/ENB support
CS PBR support
I didn't feel it's worth it to make this dependent on shipped meshes, for just the necklace - so Vanilla/ENB necklace isn't as sophisticated as the CS necklace. Because I would have needed to change texture paths. Sorry!
Installation:
install Fuse's Helga Armor
install my mod, overwrite any conflict
run PGPatcher for PBR, if you are on CS
Will work with every body conversion that keeps the original texture system intact.
Enjoy!

Little Disclaimer that I just noticed, ofc after publish. I tested to patch some smaller boobs into the normal I am using, and ofc that doesnt work with plump, pressed boobs. So that's normally not how the skin looks, I was just testing someone elses boob texture on Khisartin's CotR Base texture. The boobs look normally like in the ENB images. x'D Just saying. This is not due to CS, nor Khisartin.
