Assassin's Creed Odyssey Hairstyles SE [ILV] [LM]

Info:

This is a reworked version of Vobla's ACO Hairstyles Port found in their Discord server.

Big Shoutout to Vobla who suggested I make this a remake of their own mod and made my life so much easier with that. They are one of the best people in the community.

Optimized to be used with Community Shaders, is still compatible with vanilla/ENB.

  • retexture for the hair, scalp and accessory

  • renamed the textures to make them CS Hair Specular compatible

  • ported the Kassandra hair from HG2 to the project

  • separated the accessory from the hairstyles (meshes and TRIs)

  • remade the UV of the accessory

  • optimized the hairstyles to be only one mesh, changed transparency values

  • edited some clipping of hair meshes and scalp mesh

  • Support for CS Hair Specular

  • Support for CS PBR

  • sculpted hair and scalp meshes in OS and implemented their TRIs as a headshape slider for men - utilizing Racemenu's slider function (which means meshes and ESP records are unisex and only exists once) -> male head support

You will find a slider under the hair tab in Racemenu, called "LM Headshape Men". Set it to 1.0 for 100% effect. Sculpting the hair is still possible. You can play with the slider amount depending the weight of your character. You might have clipping on the scalp with values under 1.0, but either sculpt that by hand, or ignore it, if it's hidden under the hairstyle.

The ESP is the same, so if you switch from Vobla's to mine it shouldn't be an issue. Just disable their mod and enable mine. You can't use both at the same time.

Be aware the hairline amount changed, normally nobody used directly Vobla's hair records for their NPC replacers as a dependency. So this shouldn't cause any issues. But I don't know all the millions of Skyrim mods.

Installation:

  • If you want the Male Headshape Slider support you need to install Racemenu

  • For CS Hair Specular and PBR run PGPatcher (ofc you need CS or a CS AIO that includes the Hair Specular module)

Changelog:

April 9th 2026_1.1 Update - switched from unisex record IDs to male and female because Racemenu doesn't support unisex records for preset load. It saves them correctly, but doesn't load them correctly. For male characters you need to reapply the new headpart and resave the preset. Female characters stay the same.

There is no official documentation for Racemenu so I couldn't know this and tbh I am so busy mod making that I can't play Skyrim, nor do I work a lot with presets these days. I make a character and stay on that save instead of loading presets. On top I save presets on default assets to keep them neutral, so I didn't catch this myself.
Thank you Vaelys for reporting!

Oooo these are great! Have you considered making a wig version?

Thank you! I haven’t no, because they don’t have SMP so it’s not necessary.

They're amazing, and I'm especially grateful that they're unisex <3

Thank you! ☺️ I was having this kind of solution for so long in mind. Glad I finally tested it.

These look absolutely lovely! Are they for just males or both?

Like mentioned in the description they are unisex and have a Racemenu Slider that adapts the hair shape to vanilla and CotR based male heads. The default shape is female. Unisex means both. The ENB image shows as well a woman. I spend several hours on the mod description and screenshots. I find it always a tad disheartening when people ignore the info given.
