IDSG Bonus 19: The Fugitive (1993)
Not a lot of antifascist analysis here, just ninety minutes of Jack and I talking about a great little action flick from our teenage years, and lament a kind of lost era of cinema.

Are you guys planning on doing Romper Stomper for one of these? If you somehow haven’t seen it, you should - Russell Crowe plays the lead before he was really famous internationally. Plus the director in the commentary said he got a lot of requests to buy this movie from members of the U.S. military, which probably isn’t good in most cases.
Jack's question about US Marshals sent me to Wikipedia. It's interesting. The USMS is the oldest US policing agency. They pre-date the Peelist or Napoleonic forms of modern policing. They seam more like Commonwealth bailiffs - agents of the courts rather than the executive.
I had completely forgotten about the Daly version of Fugitive. It was such a short blip that the only real cultural footprint it left was George Newbern replacing him as the "defaulr" Superman voice for cartoons and video games because CBS wanted him exclusive
