I feel like she hired people from her past because she thought if she did them a favor (aka got them $ and titles/distinguished jobs), they’d keep their mouths shut about her past bumping butts. Or like a keep your friends close but your enemies closer type thing possibly? So she could keep tabs on them or to get word faster if someone started “rumors” She was so young and had no one to trust or protect her.. poor baby K Howard
