Bessie Blount
It's mistress time!!!...and not just any mistress. This gal birthed the son that sent shock waves through England. Get ready for some baby daddy drama!
We’re talking about Bessie’s rise at court, her long affair with a young (and still hot) Henry VIII, the birth of Henry FitzRoy, and what happened to Bessie after her relationship with the king ended.
Plus: a suspiciously appropriate tarot pull, Hot Hank, Tudor court gossip, and an absolutely unreasonable number of dirty euphemisms from Nathan.

Omg! Nathan! My son, and twin cousins are also June 15 guys! I've been listening for years so I'm surprised I never caught that fact before!
Anyone else feel like Nathan is getting it? 😂😂😂 Love this episode and Bessie in general. So interesting to hear about the women in this time of history. One thing I do wonder about is the husbands of married off mistresses and what that means for your smecks life after the fact? Like she can’t be talking negatively about the king, but also your wife’s last lover was the literal king? God on earth? Like what does that do to the old downstairs station? Anyway thought I’d share this random bedroom thought since this episode had so many lol Blessy Bessie!
There’s a theory that Elizabeth Tailboys (Bessie’s daughter) is actually Henry the VIII daughter too! It’s a fun rabbit hole to go down! Elizabeth Norton even maps it out and supports the theory!
Y’all the sex jokes in here are NEXT. LEVEL. I am so here for it 🤣🤣🤣
Love this! Y’all should do a Patreon about the theory that Henry’s the 8th wife’s pregnancy were super difficult because of the blood incompatibilites. There’s definitely a more science explanation but idk 🤭
