SLICER PATTERN METHOD

As we wrap up our very first month since launch, I want to express a genuine thank you. The response has really exceeded my expectations and I am grateful for everyone who has watched, commented, or joined the community.

You can find the gh file here: https://www.patreon.com/lassodesign/posts/slicer-method-170692504

This video serves as a foundational introduction to how we can manipulate geometry to create complex, print-ready textures. Here we are using the slicer method (with Rhino and Grasshopper). For those of you who watch this tutorial and think, "How do I push this even further?" that's exactly what we're working on in the G-Code series.

Community Update: Look What You’re Making! 🚀

I want to give a quick update on the pattern generation gcode file SERIES 01 and what you guys are creating with it, you are leveraging the patterns into some incredible designs. (See the pictures below ) 👇

What’s Coming Next in the G-Code series!

Series 01 is officially closed. The initial R&D focused on mapping complex patterns strictly to closed surfaces, establishing a baseline optimized for lighting and vase design.

Series 02: Is closed as well where we shifted the focus on versatility and scale. We are able to generate patterns for closed as well as open surfaces and opted for the option to add any nozzle size, making it easyer to implement with clay and larger machines, ideal for larger designs such as furniture design.

Series 03: We are getting ready to start the next series which will focus on more precise applications of custom g-code generation.

I wish there was a transcrito of the videos. It's just way too quick and I'm not able to understand it all

I'm working on the transcripts and should have a solution very soon. Regarding the pacing, we want to keep the series information-dense by editing out any unnecessary parts but allowing everyone to pause at key moments
