W.I.P. #14 | Light, Light & More Light! ☀️

This week I’m back with some more updates on the next set 👀

As I told you before, I really wanted to add some skylights to the game and I said they were going to be a little special. I didn’t want to make simple, flat skylights because I feel like we already have quite a few of those. Instead, I really wanted to create ones at a slight angle, mostly inspired by kitchens in Midcentury Modern homes and even Kendall Jenner’s house!

I feel like they are just perfect for creating a cool kitchen feature. I can totally see them being used in a small kitchen like the reference picture or in a bigger kitchen where you want to give one specific area a little extra character and make it stand out.

After doing some trial and testing, I also realised that with this collection you can actually create a full greenhouse if you want to! You can have the entire roof made of glass, as well as the walls. Or maybe a cute little winter garden if that’s more your style! 👀

What I love most about these skylights is that they come in 3 different pieces: a start piece, an end piece and a middle piece, meaning you can make them as long or as short as you want! They also all come in a 3-tile version, because you guys know I love big windows. 😂

And to go with all the new colours I’m working on, I also created a functional custom trim using my signature textures and colours, available in both wood and metal swatches to match the windows and skylights!
