Developer Notes - February 12, 2026
Hey everyone, here's another update so you're all caught up with what's going on in development.
Hardware Update
I recently went back to the Philippines for a short vacation. I managed to grab a cheap DDR4 RAM there from a friend who sold it to me for cheap. So now, we're currently operating with a total of 40GB of RAM. I saw a huge performance as I'm able to easily render larger scenes and I no longer have to split and render multiple layers of some renders. For those curious, my current setup has 3x8GB + 1x16GB of RAM. Eventually, I'd like to upgrade to 4x16GB or even 4x32GB, but RAM prices here in Singapore are pretty crazy right now, so that's on hold for the moment. Regardless, I'm still pushing the PC to crank out at least 30 renders per day to keep progress steady.
Development Progress
On the dev side, I've been hitting 40-50 renders per day thanks to a new workflow that doubled my output. I used to max out at 15-20, so this feels like a big step forward.
There's still a bit left to do, mainly rendering and testing. Here's the breakdown:
1 long scene (currently being rendered)
1 long scene to restructure/fix (only a few renders needed)
1 long scene + 1 short scene to prep and render
50-60 renders to rework
Final testing and polishing (just a few renders if needed)
Message from Me
I just want to thank everyone who's been out there and supporting the game. I'd like to thank Nelciel for starting to support me here on Patreon. I appreciate it a lot. The support I get here goes straight into buying assets and hardware upgrades, all with the goal of eventually setting up a second PC dedicated to rendering so we can push out scenes even faster.
Part 2 is nearly there, and I can't wait to share it with you all. Thanks again for sticking with me through the grind!
