Technical update, clarifications & few Amber renders!
Hey everyone!
I've been browsing the F95 forum on my private account recently. I generally try to avoid it since some of the hate/negative comments without any real useful feedback hit me harder than I'd like to admit, so I'm trying to limit my exposure lol. However, I did pick up on some good suggestions that I'll be implementing (specifically that transparent textbox!), and also noticed some wild theories that I'd like to address here:
1. Separate payments per character? Someone suggested every character would be paid for separately. Absolutely not the case! Active patrons will have access to the current full build - that's the goal and it's not changing.
2. Why pay for a game with "AI slop"? Without going into too much detail - why would I make a free game in my free time? I assume most of you don't find this surprising considering you've subscribed (and I really appreciate it!). I think the pricing is fair given the lower production costs from AI usage, but my friend who renders the art and animations still spends significant time polishing and inpainting everything. It's easier and takes less technical skill than traditional rendering, but it still takes time. And time is money. Without the funds I've already invested, there would be no game and no progress :(
3. Will this game be abandoned after making some quick cash? I completely understand this concern based on what's happened with other developers, but rest assured - I'm not new to this. I already maintain monthly updates on 2 other games with almost no AI art. I've been doing this for over 3 years, so I have solid experience understanding my limits and delivering on what I promise. Sure, sometimes there are delays, but abandonment? Not even close to a possibility!
Technical Update: There's now an updated demo on itch (https://hornyjailstudio.itch.io/my-cuckqueen-girlfriend) featuring hints on story progression, an expanded prologue, and an implemented gallery. It's not perfect yet and I'll be working on fixing any bugs you report :)
I'm aiming to release the first Patreon version in ~2 weeks, featuring Amber's first events and 3 sex scenes. I'll be following that monthly schedule going forward - 3 scenes and a few story events each month, slowly building up the content.
P.S.: For any F95 users who subscribed here - I'd really appreciate if you could help clear up any misunderstandings you notice on the forum. Leaving a good review would obviously help too! Any support is always welcome :)
