This Is SO REP Coded! | Who's Afraid Of Little Old Me - Journey To The Eras Tour PT9
Welcome back to Part 9 of our Journey to the Eras Tour!
Today Rick and Robert continue their Taylor Swift journey by experiencing "Who's Afraid of Little Old Me?" from The Tortured Poets Department for the very first time.
Before we hit play, we talk about where The Tortured Poets Department fits into Taylor's career, the period of her life that inspired the album, and why so many fans see this song as carrying major Reputation energy.
Once the music starts, the conversation immediately turns into one of our deepest Taylor discussions yet.
We break down the lyrics, the emotion behind her delivery, the production choices, and why this song feels so raw, theatrical, vulnerable, and incredibly powerful all at the same time.
One of the biggest surprises of the episode is that both Rick and Robert independently compare this song to Anti-Hero, seeing it as another deeply personal look at the public perception of Taylor Swift—but from a much darker and more confrontational perspective.
We also discuss:
• Why this feels like it could have lived on Reputation
• Taylor's vocal performance and emotional delivery
• The storytelling hidden inside the lyrics
• Celebrity culture and unrealistic public expectations
• The meaning behind several of the song's biggest lines
• Whether certain lyrics have multiple interpretations
• How vulnerability and strength can exist in the same song
Then comes one of the biggest moments of our Taylor journey so far...
Robert reveals that "Who's Afraid of Little Old Me?" may actually be the best Taylor Swift song we've shown him yet.
His explanation leads to one of our favorite discussions we've had during this entire Journey to the Eras Tour series.
We also tease something we've been waiting a long time to experience together—the incredible Eras Tour performance of this song. Swifties already know exactly why we're so excited, and yes... we'll also be checking out the famous stage malfunction performance when we finally reach that point in the tour.
If you've been following this series from the beginning, thank you so much for coming along with us. Watching Rick and Robert discover Taylor Swift's catalog one song at a time has become one of our favorite things we've ever done on Hazed Reactions.
As always, we'd love to hear from you!
Do you agree with Robert that this is one of Taylor's greatest songs?
Does this feel like a spiritual successor to Reputation?
And what was YOUR interpretation of "Who's Afraid of Little Old Me?" the first time you heard it?
Leave your thoughts below—we read far more comments than you probably realize.
Thanks for watching!

Best performance on the eras tour for sure! Can’t wait for you guys to see this one👏🏼
I enjoy a lot your videos !
A lot of people also think the line about stepping on her lawn and suing her is about Olivia Rodrigo ut that people don’t even know the truth about that situation and keep repeating the wrong story. They say Taylor threatened to sue Olivia for sampling cruel summer but the truth is that an ex member of the band paramore sued Olivia for credits bc she sampled some paramore and she settled with him, afterwards people recognized similarities to cruel summer so Olivia CHOSE to GIVE credits to both Taylor and her collaborator Jack Antonoff.
I can’t wait for them to hear Smallest Man Whoever Lived! The feral way I screamed these lyrics at the Era’s tour! #FemaleRage:TheMusical
The live is so fire 🔥🔥🔥
I can't wait for smallest man
I bet the guys would love King of my Heart live from the Reputation Tour.
👀🤭 we may or may not have recorded that too and it may or may not be coming out soon 🫶🏼

Getting Robert's wife involved in the Tay love! Yes! :)
Yess, we were so excited!!
The Live version of this was my favorite on the tour....which is saying a ton bc I love the Rep era. TtPD went hard live!
Yess TTPD is so good! They’re gonna LOVE the live of it!
As someone who has seen the live TTPD set I’m so stoked for y’all to see it. It’s amazing live!!!
Yess it’s gonna be so awesome!!
I agree with y’all about Taylor being protective of not just her privacy but her art as well… I’ve always had the feeling based on things Taylor has said and the way she’s acted, especially getting behind the scenes looks at her life in her documentary that she feels a huge responsibility to her staff, her backup singers, her band, her dancers, her family especially. It’s that she’s doing it for everyone around her as well because she wants to take care of them as well. I also think she recognizes that she is in a position of power and wealth to set a precedent for other artists.
So perfectly said!!!!
This is going to be a great reaction
Hope you enjoyed it!! 🫶🏼♥️
