Wait... THIS Was Drake's Answer to Not Like Us?! 😳 | The Heart Part 6 Reaction

The Kendrick Lamar vs Drake rap battle reaches its final chapter as Katie reacts to Drake's The Heart Part 6 for the very first time.

After the devastating back-to-back releases of Meet The Grahams and Not Like Us, Drake finally responds with what would become his final entry in the biggest hip hop feud of the decade (and maybe of all time?). In this reaction and discussion, we break down Drake's defense strategy, his claims that Kendrick was fed false information, the controversial Mother I Sober references, and whether spending most of a diss track defending yourself is ever a winning formula.

Throughout this episode, we discuss some of the biggest talking points surrounding The Heart Part 6, including Drake's argument that his team intentionally planted information about a secret daughter, the contradictions many listeners noticed throughout the song, and why so many fans felt this response lacked the impact people expected after Kendrick's previous attacks.

We also talk about Drake's approach compared to Kendrick Lamar's throughout the beef, how production choices may have influenced public perception of both artists, why Kendrick's offensive strategy seemed to resonate more strongly with listeners, and whether Drake was at his best only when he stopped defending himself and focused on attacking Kendrick directly. Plus, why are we still talking about Rick Ross at this stage? Focus on the big game Drake!

One of the major topics of discussion is Drake's interpretation of Kendrick Lamar's Mother I Sober from Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers. We share our thoughts on why Drake may have reached the conclusions he did while intentionally avoiding a full deep dive into the song's story and meaning since Katie has not yet experienced that track and we plan to cover it in a future reaction.

As the song comes to a close, we discuss Drake's final shots aimed at Kendrick and Whitney, whether The Heart Part 6 felt like a true counterattack or more like a concession, and where we ultimately land on Drake's final effort in the Kendrick Lamar vs Drake feud.

To wrap up the episode, Rick introduces Katie to BBL Drizzy before we officially close the book on the active beef portion of this series and look ahead to our next stop on Journey to the Eras Tour, where we'll be reacting to Taylor Swift's But Daddy I Love Him.

After that, we will be showing Katie the Not LIke Us Music Video and then diving head first into GNX with Wacced Out Murals so stay tuned!

What did YOU think of Drake's The Heart Part 6?

Did Drake successfully defend himself?

Did Kendrick Lamar already have the battle won before this song dropped?

Was Drake's biggest mistake his strategy, his angles, his producers, or something else entirely?

Drop your thoughts in the comments and make sure you come back for the next episode! Hey, hey, hey, hey...

I think you guys had the same take on this song as a lot of us! I would love to see you guys react to comedian Josh Johnson's special called "Kendrick and Drake explained to white people in 27 minutes" ( It's free on YouTube) because I think you guys would really get a kick out of his explanation of the beef! He says that this song feels like you were playing rock paper scissors with a kid and he loses, but instead of admitting that he lost he tells you "No these aren't scissors, these are lasers, I won!"

Wrong Kendrick never put nun out about rkelly’s music. That was Top Dawg that spoke on that. Kendrick only ever spoke out about XXX tentacion. If he really want to kill Kendrick about what he said about R Kelly would be in Mr. Morale when he said “I think about Robert Kelly If he weren't molested, I wonder if life'll fail him” but Drake not doing research correctly don’t deliver that diss correctly

For the record it wasn't even R kelly specifically but spotify was trying to remove artists work if they had done "bad things" but the issue was that they singled out black artists like XXXTENTACION KODAK BLACK AND R.KELLY but were choosing to ignore white artist who had been accused of similar crimes and TDE as a label threatened to remove Kendricks catalog as a response

Top Dawg threaten to. The owner of TDE said that.
