The Dominion War: How Starfleet Abandoned Its Morals
In this episode of Acceptable Losses, DK and Kirioth dive into the most devastating conflict the United Federation of Planets has ever faced: The Dominion War. After discovering a shortcut to the Gamma Quadrant via the Bajoran Wormhole, the Federation accidentally attracts the attention of the most ruthless force in the galaxy. The guys break down the terrifying efficiency of the Dominion, an empire ruled by the mythic, shapeshifting Founders and enforced by the genetically engineered, drug-dependent Jem'Hadar. Tune in as we discuss how a desperate Starfleet was forced to completely abandon its morals to survive. From Section 31's deployment of a genocide-inducing virus against the Changelings to Elim Garak's cold-blooded assassination plots to drag the Romulans into the fight, this is Star Trek at its absolute darkest.

Yay DK lead episode!!!!
This autoplayed and I was hoping it was about the minion war and minion lore
500 crew on 15 ships, and 1500 crew on 5 ships is the same number, so not really worse, at 7500 each. But 15,000 dead in one fight is brutal lol
on the flip side can we get pancreas to discuss the yuuzhan vong war for the old star wars eu
I absolutey belive kirioth should do more intros that was class
Guess it's time to rewatch all of Star Trek again. Thanks gang.
You like Star Trek right?
Sooo hyped for all these changelings to hit the upcoming MTG set
Has DK seen Babylon 5? If he likes DS9, that's probably right up his alley (and also a potential future episode)
Walking into the changeling homeworld with a big jar labeled "Genophage" like "you get what you deserve, Murray!"
Very unpopular opinion: Star Trek in its entirety is overrated
Kirioth, you missed the episodes where Jem Hadar killed the (hope I got the right one) Odyssey, a galaxy class as a flex... Also the Enterprise gets called the federation flagship both in TOS and TNG, admirals know Picard and Kirk and feel free to visit after all.
For a future video you may want to consider World War Z. Acceptable Loses is made for this story. There is no movie.
Was really hoping this topic would get covered. I absolutely adore DS9, my favorite Star Trek show.
DS 9 is my least favorite Star Trek series but I look forward to the discussion. LETS GOOOO.!!! ....
Kirioth: most British intro too date. Followed by Dk: WORST Kirioth impression too date. Within 2 minutes? This episode is going to be CINEMA
Thats why om here 😁
