NEET: Survival | Exploring the New World
Lisa Flynn — フリン・莉紗
"Hey, everyone! Lisa here!
It's been almost four months since Judgment Day.
I guess you could call me lucky. My family and I managed to secure places aboard the Yamato Noah, escaping the massive tsunamis and landslides that devastated Mihong.
But life aboard that ship was nothing like the Garden of Eden they promised us in their advertisements.
The first month wasn't so bad. But after that? Everything went straight to hell.
The rules of civilized society collapsed, leaving nothing but humanity's ugliest instincts. I lost my family aboard that ship. All I could do was hide in the darkest corners, hoping no one would find me.
But someone did.
Akira Rindou, our student council president, found me and several other survivors. He helped us escape aboard a small boat.
We drifted across the ocean for who knows how many days and nights. The weather was still brutal. Not nearly as terrifying as the first days after the AHC disaster, but more than enough to destroy our little boat.
And somehow, we ended up here.
A small, isolated beach that looks like it might have been a valley before the world was flooded.
...Anyway! Enough about the past!
I've been living here for two weeks now, and guess what?
That weird guy who calls himself NEET decided to make me the Head of Exploration!
Sounds impressive, right?
Yeah, well... I'm also the ONLY member of the exploration team!
Ugh! Seriously?!
But I guess I can't complain too much.
Chiharu-san is still physically weak, and she's already the brains of our little group. President Rindou is busy looking after everyone and building the things we need to survive.
And then there's his older sister, Ayano Rindou, who used to be my teacher and advisor.
She's so clumsy! If we sent her into this jungle alone, she'd probably never find her way back!
So that leaves me.
The former school athlete. Lucky me, huh?
Maybe it's because I inherited my father's Britannian blood, but I've always been physically stronger than most Mihong girls my age.
But hey! I'm still a girl, you know?!
Sending me alone into a dense jungle where the fog barely clears all day...
Doesn't that idiot worry about me at all?!
...Well, whatever.
As much as I hate to admit it, NEET's advice has saved our group more than a few times already.
So I guess I should stop complaining and get to work.
Today's mission: Find a source of fresh water!
Finding food is our secondary objective.
Seriously, though... I'm so sick of eating coconuts!
I want MEAT! Actual meat!
But honestly, I'd settle for finding somewhere to take a proper bath.
I feel so gross that I don't even want anyone standing close to me anymore!
Bathing in seawater just makes my skin sting and itch. And now we're not even allowed to do that because of the contamination.
Ugh... I really, REALLY need a bath!
Anyway!
Primary objective: Fresh water.
Secondary objective: Food.
All right! Time to get moving!
Come on, everyone!
Let's explore this mysterious forest together!

NEET: Survival | Development Log
Moving Forward — From Character Development to World Building
Over the past 3–4 weeks, I've been focusing on three main areas of NEET: Survival: developing the story, outlining the core gameplay systems, and, most importantly, character development.
Character development has taken up the most time by far.
From the early prototypes to countless adjustments in skin shading, lighting, facial details, and rendering, I've spent weeks trying to achieve the visual quality I originally envisioned.
And finally...
I've achieved the skin tones and lighting I've been aiming for!
After weeks of experimentation, the characters are finally starting to look the way I wanted them to in Unity.
There are still plenty of details to refine, but I'm finally satisfied with the overall visual direction.
Now it's time for the next stage: World Development!
As you can see in the 10-minute gameplay video above, I've started bringing the first exploration area to life, with Lisa Flynn guiding you through the environment.
The next major focus will be expanding and refining the game's maps and environments, followed by further development of the core gameplay systems.
Once these foundations are ready, I'll begin integrating the story into the gameplay, connecting the characters, exploration, survival mechanics, and world systems into a complete experience.
There's still a long road ahead, but I'm excited to finally move beyond the initial character development stage and start bringing the world of NEET: Survival to life.

Upcoming Special Support Campaign
I'll also be launching a limited, one-time support campaign soon to help replace and upgrade some of my development computer hardware.
Rather than simply asking for donations, I'd like to offer something special in return to those who choose to support the project.
One of the planned packages is the $49 Faithful Support Package, featuring 3 selectable character skins from my previous game, The Asmodeus Eyes (TAE).
Supporters will be able to choose 2 of the 3 familiar TAE characters and 1 of the 2 previously unreleased characters.
The package will also include additional in-game supporter benefits and a complimentary 12-month Patreon Gift Membership for the Faithful tier.
Character skins and other in-game rewards will become available as their corresponding features are developed and released.
The campaign isn't live yet, so stay tuned for the official announcement and full details.
As always, thank you for following the development of NEET: Survival and supporting my work!
