Many people, even other artists have a tough time understanding that a person can go though these things on multiple different levels (personal, interpersonal, as a group, as an artist etc.) and bts make music that addresses all of that in one, but people just get stuck thinking it's a love song or a break up song and they're talking about a girl and that's it. The Love Yourself album series healed me in ways I will forever be grateful to BTS for. I think finding BTS when I did brought so much joy to my life when I had none, but going through the LY journey with them certainly healed me. It made me look at myself, cry my eyes out, and still somehow forgive myself. I don't know how to explain it, but by the end of the series, I wanted to keep living. I was looking forward to things again, and I was happier. Ten years with BTS made me who I am now. I'm absolutely proud of who I've become and everything I've built, and it's all thanks to Bangtan for finding me when they did.

Yay, I'm so glad you guys decided to react to the full album, I truly feel it makes a difference when you experience it back to back! Oh man, when the Best of Me was playing I got hit hard with PCD!! I honestly started crying at the end because the song isn’t the same without ARMY singing along!🥺 P.s Namjoon has the most pronounced dimples, but most of the guys actually have dimples. They just only show when they make a specific faces or while eating like Hobi and Jin. Jk is probably the next after Joon when it comes to noticeable dimples. Since Pied Piper loosely references the tale Pied Piper of Hamelin, they are not only playfully calling out armys in their lyrics but are also playing into the lure that is their music. BTS are the Pied Piper that lure in army. And I love that their voices are in such a high key, which could be interpreted as similar to the sound of a pipe like the one in the tale. 🪈🪈🎶🎶🎵🎵

btw guys pied piper is basically telling armys that it’s okay to love them but to not center our lives around them. because some fans definitely can be too parasocial. so it’s like them saying they love us and appreciate how deeply we feel about them but we need to have our own lives too. real artists will give u a reality check even if they love u so much. another reason to stan bts lol 😌

Guys I think love yourself her is supposed be a bit conflicting and not giving you a proper resolution cause like you mentioned they give you more in depth lyrics of what they are talking in this song (love yourself: her) in the next album , in fact the title song of the next album is fake love where they talk about Masks and being a puppet to the one you love and the love yourself tear album was when they were really really burned out and thinking about disbanding (early 2018) and we didn’t know when tear album came out but the things they said later about the feelings they had during this period completely checks out with their lyrics from tear album

every time i hear sea i burst into tears. it’s an extreme feeling of bittersweet nostalgia that i can’t really explain

I don’t know why none of the lyric videos ever explain this but in mic drop YOONGIS VERSE he’s actually saying there are no (peodo)grapes in our concert , he said that because when your ticketing the empty seats are shown as purple so the scattered empty seats give off an appearance of grapes scattered and yoongi here is bragging saying there are no grapes in our concert he said that so that he can rhyme well , also rms verse is very different in the Korean ver he mentioned ‘Aesop’s fable fly’ in it and how haters are hurting themselves trying to ruin bts , In Aesop's fable "The Bald Man and the Fly," a pesky fly lands on a bald man's head and bites him. When the man tries to slap the fly, he ends up hitting himself hard on the head instead. The fly escapes and mocks him, pointing out that he hurt himself just trying to get revenge on a tiny insect.

Great album. But I must say (please don't shoot me 🤨) I just don't enjoy Pied Piper that much. Mic drop is way better in English. Sorry!

So when pied piper came bts was just breaking records left and right and videos about analysing bts videos and everything came out soo many so here bts is like I know you love us and we love you too but don’t just waste your time on us cause we don’t want you to hate us later or regret the time spent (rm actually said this last line I wrote I think it was during a fan meet or live I don’t remember which event he said it ) that’s why the last line before chorus is ‘’if I’m ruining you right now please forgive me because you can’t live without me and I know it all” glad you realised the meaning now cause tbh I was a bit disappointed the first time you listened to this song cause you dint clock this but I had faith that with a good lyric video you would get it

I discovered bts right before the beginning of this era and experiencing this love yourself album trilogy in real time was genuinely life changing and was exactly what I needed at that time 💜

Great observation from Ronnie about how beneficial it is to go back and forth when listening to BTS' discography. There are so many songs that take on new and deeper meanings once you've heard other songs, or watched performances. There are just so many layers and repeating themes. It's crazy how much I still love their music and find new things to love after 6 years of being an Army. I truly never get tired of it!
