I have an idea, and I’m not sure if this has already been done. If it has, I’ll probably look pretty stupid 😅. One problem everyone faces when organizing ROMs is deciding whether to collect every region and revision of a game or just keep one version. Most people solve this by using 1G1R sets. However, this doesn’t make a collection feel complete, and trying to create a “perfect” set can be a hassle. So I was thinking: in the game selection menu, when you press a button while hovering over a game, it could open an options menu—similar to how, on iOS, holding an app icon brings up options like removing the app. This menu could include options such as choosing the game’s region or revision from a bullet-point list. That way, you’d only see a single game entry in the main menu, while still having access to all versions when you want them. This menu could also include other actions, like removing the game from your library. I have a visual concept in mind and could make an image for it, but I can’t join the Discord to upload it. If you want more details, let me know and I’ll explain further.
It's a great idea. Please, if you can elaborate more, I can try to make it!
So in the original presentation they said iisu will have a music player. I know this is something that'll come further down the line after all the essentials are ready, but in the presentation they said you can organise your wav and mp3 files here, will this mean iisu will only support wav and mp3 files because i have a library of flac files that are a superior type of music file so I was wondering if iisu would have support for this file type and many others otherwise I should start organising my music library. Thanks in Advance!
Yup! It will have support for most popular file formats! I love FLAC format as well!
Can you add an option to rotate the screen to the opposite side ? The app start with camera on the left and charging port on the right orientation, i need to be able to rotate to the other side pls, i beg you.
On it!
Will there be an option to scrape from another metadata/img db, that's not IGDB? If that ever goes down, or if for some reason we do not want to associate our normal Twitch with scraping for games, there's no alternatives atm, it seems
Yup! We will include 5 scraper options and an internal one ;)
Loving it great work! Is there anyway for it stop auto toggling into ds mode on a single screen? I'm on a odin mini 2 and exiting and re entering the app causes it to get stuck on the top screen
I will check this; this shouldn't happen.
With the preload, does it require the app to be in focus? It seems to lose connection when in background
Yup!!, but its a great idea to allow it on background
The onboarding is a godsend!
Awesome work, looking forward to seeing more support for emulators like RPCSX and Yaba Sanshiro 2 PRO. Happy new year!
Thank you!
Cualquier actualización me alegra 💜
Yay for app updates!
Having an issue with iisu not wanting to launch Eden mainline or Eden Nightly from the app but games launch fine through Eden directly. Is this just a me issue?
can you post the package of eden please
