MelonDS-Android with Vulkan support!
Hi! Right now, it's only a POC, but it shows the advantages of using Vulkan instead of OpenGL! The first image is Pokémon HG with OpenGL and its current artifacts, and the second one is the POC I made in melonDS-android that supports Vulkan! It doesn't have those artifacts!
I will make a Patrons-first release so you can help narrow most of the bugs before the public release!
Thanks for your support!

This is awesome to see! Having to sacrifice higher resolution rendering to avoid all the black lines has always been a pain.
Nice progress. Could you add wireless multiplayer support too? Like Eden emulator?
Will try!
Where do we get the release?
Its not ready yet will publish version as I coded all rederer aspects, it will take time, but we will there!

This is exactly why I stay subscribed, your work on melonDS brings me so much joy, thank you 🥹❤️
Hello, melonDS author here. Just a reminder that since melonDS is licensed under the GPL, whenever you release you will have to provide your source code too.
Yup!, so happy to see you here!, as alway all the code is released in my fork repo!!
Привет, ждем новых обновлений.
Oh my god, the broken tiles have driven me nuts for so long. If those have been completely fixed, I could kiss you. I think there might be some other graphical issues still lingering, IIRC parts of certain buildings flicker a bit(could've been DraStic and not melonDS), but it wasn't nearly as annoying as the tiles. I'm still waiting for my DNA Duo, but it's really cool that a huge problem like this has been fixed before it finally arrives.
Dude this is insane! I thought nothing could be done about that, it’s awesome :D did Vulcan improve frame pacing at all?
Crazy works bro!!!! U r goated!!!!
AMAZING! Been waiting for something like this!! Gonna up my sub to you!
Thanks!!
Nice Work Sapphire!
This is big!! Thanks for all your work!
Would this fix shadows in games like dragonball origins?
I hope so! If you can tell me which game it is and when it happens, I can take a look at it!
Keep up the good work, this is looking solid!
