Chapter 4 - Devlog #3
Hey there!
Here's another devlog.
As I mentioned before, I've spent the last two weeks mostly working on renders and made pretty solid progress, although I also had to spend quite a bit of time dealing with some IRL issues that had piled up over the last few years. Thankfully, I really hope all of that is behind me now and that nothing major will distract me from development anymore.
During that time, I also finished several fairly complicated scenes involving quite a few characters, and they took a considerable amount of time. Moments like this once again make me curse myself for writing scenes this way in the first place and remind me that I should probably try to keep these kinds of sequences a little more intimate in the future. But apparently, once I start writing the script, I just can't help myself.
As usual, while working on renders, I also reread the script and occasionally change certain parts whenever I feel they can be improved. This time, that led me to a fairly significant decision: adding one more sex scene.
If you remember, I previously said there would be three of them in this chapter: two alternative scenes with Loraine to choose from, and one with a new character. However, after going through the script more carefully, I realized that one more scene isn't just possible here, but almost necessary.
So Irsha will also get a full scene, which, of course, you'll be able to refuse.
I also want to clarify one thing. Irsha doesn't have separate Love and Lust routes. She only has one overall romance route. So even if you got different scenes with her in Chapter 3 depending on your choice, Chapter 4 will have the same Irsha scene for everyone who continues her romance.
Overall, the chapter is shaping up to be not only very eventful, but genuinely big as well. Because of that, it'll most likely come out a little later than you're used to. I hope you won't be too mad at me for that and that you're looking forward to it as much as I'm looking forward to finally showing you the result.

Hearing that we won't have to choose a branching path for the Irsha relationship is a huge relief
Sounds like you have a lot on your plate. Take the time you need to get things sorted. With life and the game. The world won't burn if things take more time than planned.
