🎬 [Early Access] Cinematic Cut-ins v1.4: Combat Link, Masking & Performance Boost!
v1.4 introduces Combat Link and Layer Masking features.
This update connects visual effects directly to combat mechanics and includes a complete rendering engine overhaul for better performance.
🚀 New Features
⚔️ All-Out Attack: Combat Link
The "All-Out Attack" can now function as a combat starter.
Link Combat: Enabling this option automates the following sequence:
Player Join: Clicking "Join" automatically rolls the player's Initiative.
Battle Start: Once everyone is ready, the animation plays, NPC initiatives are rolled, and Combat starts automatically.
🎭 Layer Masking
You can now crop and mask layers directly within the configuration window.
Shape Masks: Crop assets into Circles, Ovals, or Diamonds.
Smart Crop (Inset): Cut off unwanted borders (like black bars) using the Square Inset mode.
Image Masks: Use any custom image file to mask the layer (Alpha Masking).
Controls: Real-time Size, X, and Y adjustments.
⚡ Optimization
DOM Object Pooling: Rewrote the rendering engine to recycle DOM elements instead of recreating them. This eliminates video stuttering and reduces memory usage.
Sync: The animation now waits for video assets to fully buffer before starting, ensuring Audio and Video stay synchronized.
📢 Notice: End of Early Access
The Early Access period for Cinematic Cut-ins will officially conclude on January 13th. Starting from that date, access will be expanded to the Supporter Tier as well. v1.4 is the final major update of the Early Access phase.
👀 Upcoming Projects & Teasers
I am currently working on major updates for my other modules as well!
📱 Smartphone Widget: New "ID Card App"
Digital ID: Players can create and flash their custom ID Cards to chat or screen.
Security Access: Use your ID Card to physically unlock/open specific doors on the canvas!
⚔️ Stylish Action HUD (Coming Soon)
I am preparing to release a completely new token HUD overhaul featuring flashy animated themes—including Iron, SF, and Fantasy styles—and dynamic status effects. I have attached a brief video demonstration showcasing the features and themes completed so far.
Native Support (D&D 5e & PF2e): Deep integration works out of the box, reading spell slots, ammo, and feats automatically.
Semi-System Agnostic: For other systems, I've included an in-game Menu Builder. You can create custom categories and simply Drag & Drop items or macros to populate the HUD.
Extensible: An API will be provided for community developers to create adapters for other systems.
It is fully developed and currently undergoing final testing. Expect the release very soon!
