Shadowheart Takes Her Hair Down At Night - Now on Patreon

Because of Nexus forcing their Collections feature onto all of my mod pages, I'm going to upload some of my mods here for the time being. If I find a solution to this, I'll unhide them on Nexus. :)

This mod changes Shadowheart's hair to a loose hairstyle at nighttime, so she's no longer sleeping with all that metal in her hair.

Script Extender is required. I recommend installing with BG3 Mod Manager.

This mod won't be compatible with anything that changes Shadowheart's hairstyle. If you try to use a mod that changes her hair alongside this, the script will stack her vanilla hair on top of her modded one, which is probably not what you want. The same thing will happen if you change Shadowheart's hair using AEE.

If you want, you can make a personal edit of this mod to make it compatible, but you would need to do it before starting a new game, or the aforementioned stacking issue will occur.

If you want to change Shadowheart's daytime hairstyle mid-game, and have some code editing/modding experience, you can use the oldHair variable in the script to safely change it. Simply place Shadowheart's current hair UUID into the oldHair variable, and place the one you want to switch to in the dayHair variable. Then pack the mod, load it into the game, and swap to camp clothes and back. Her hair should now be changed without any annoying hair stacking.

There is now an optional version of the mod that is compatible with Shadowheart Hair Tweak mod. Thank you to SunMarie for making it and allowing me to incorporate the edit in my mod.
