I have to share, I only just discovered you two after you were on Last Meals and I'm so bummed you're coming to my home town of San Jose, CA next week and I will be at a work conference in El Paso *all of the tour days* you'll be in the Bay Area. So thank you for the tour diaries. I hope you check out the Tech Museum and the Quetzalcoatl statue around the corner from the Civic Theater. If you search "Quetzalcoatl San Jose Statue" there's a KQED article that goes into the backstory and why it looks... the way it does... Oh and food rec, you have to try La Victoria's! The orange sauce is amazing! Personal Fav is the carne asada super nachos, but really just get whatever you like getting at a taqueria and a bottle of the orange sauce to squirt on to every bite to the degree you can tolerate spicy food
