I imagine this happens a lot, even if no Basitin will admit it. Every single one of them grows weary of their culture's many rules and high expectations, and should they get an opportunity to visit human or Keidran lands, all those repressed desires bubble to the surface in no time flat.
I imagine most Basitin that gets to see how free and open they can be on the mainland often stay there. Witch is probably one of the reasons that Keith was the first banished to ever return
