Didn't Tom say that tiger keidran are obligate carnivores? If I'm not mistaken, this is going to leave Flora in a world of gastric hurt. Still, peanut butter has one interesting advantage. It tastes the same coming up as it did going down!
Tom has said that Keidran don't have the dietary restrictions of their animal counterparts. Chocolate, peanut butter, and all other human foods are fine for Keidran to eat. Flora just prefers her meat SUPER rare.
Gods help us when she gets to the "Pickles and ice cream at 4am" stage. That said, unless the seeds in the jam happened to form some damned sigil, there's surely only so much damage Trace could do just by making a sandwich, even with his rotten luck. On the flip side, you can do wonders with only basic cooking skills. What wonders when he discovers how to brown ground beef without exploding the house; a world of burgers, tacos, spaghetti, manwiches, etc. await!

I mean... peanut butter is just yummy. I can't pretend to have not eaten it from a jar with a spoon myself and I lack the plumbing to ever have to worry with getting pregnant.

I relate to Flora so hard. Sometimes breakfast is just several spoonfuls of peanut butter before crawling back to bed.
Poor Trace was trying to make some peanut butter jelly sandwiches for breakfast, but little did he know, Flora got to it first and she finished it all. Flora looks so adorable when she's happy.
