Optimus Prime
A rather lost Optimus Prime defending a Keidran village from a Templar attack, suggested by technic_bot!
This was a rather unusual thing to come up in the polls! Definitely out of my comfort zone as an artist. I've never drawn mechs before (to my knowledge) and while I'm sure I've seen a few episodes of Transformers as a kid, it's been years. I used a lot of references for this, but all of them seemed to have some details different, so I apologize if I got anything wrong.

Someone needs to suggest Pacific Rim next
Due to recent events, RIP Peter Cullen. 1941 - 2026. "Till all are one."
Remember, folks, Transformers has the support and has had crossovers with the biggest and most active furry fandom to date (MLP, duh). So this is a special event by Transformers standards.
Pretty refreshing to see something so drastically different to what usually gets requested, I wouldn't mind seeing more experimental stuff like this here.
Now starts the Fan Fiction of Transformers X Twokinds! It's another Ultimate showdown!
He's just glaring at them out the corner of his eye like, "Leave these civilians alone. ... Stop - attacking. Now." =_= ngl Tom, I love this! Surprisingly well done!
I started reading the end of that post out loud in the voice of Peter Cullen.
The Keidran village finally scraped together 4 iron blocks, now they'll never be in danger again.
i love how he's looking forward like he doesn't care
"Parry this you filthy casu-OH MY GOD HE PARRIED IT, HE PARRIED IT LIKE IT WAS NOTHING RUUUUUUUUUUUUUN!!"
Now I'd love to see Sythe piloting a Timberwolf battlemech! (Mechwarrior/Battletech universe)
YOU HERETIC FOLLOWER OF CHAOS! LORGAR BETRAYED THE GOD EMPEROR TO THE CHAOS GODS! I SWEAR BY THE MOONS OF NOCTURNE YOU SHALL FELL THE WRATH OF VULKAN AND THE 18TH LEGION! INTO THE FIRES OF BATTLE, UNTO THE ANVIL OF WAR!
I feel like Karen wouldn’t even be afraid of him
We definitely need more cheetah keidran ❤️
when i saw this my reaction was just wat
Prime's misplaced his blaster then - probably for the best as those mages would be... Not in the best of shape.
I don't think Prime's misplaced it. He just hasn't brought it out yet. Which ones he learns more about the current Templar, he will.
Don’t worry, a lot of the time the show was inaccurate to its self (i.e. it was riddled with animation errors)
"IS THAT THE GRIM REAPER?!?!?!" esque vibe to this and its hilarious
This is Prime silliness
That made me giggle.
Well, Tom, for someone who's never drawn Transformers before, I think you did an amazing job!
As the suggestor suggested, a *very* lost Optimus Prime. Ya did good with him.
Amazing tom, never seen you go out of the twokinds zone.
This is fantastic, you did a great job on Optimus. I feel that this will be colored 'cuz it's just so good.
Optimus prime Autobots roll out
This is absolutely in character for Optimus, no matter where he is, he cherishes all life and will defend it.
I think Optimus Prime tripped and fell in a heap, so he ended up hitting himself, and you know what happens when somebody is hit by a truck...
Great work Tom! Even outside of your comfort zone you still do an amazing job!
Congrats, Tec
be intesting if you did an April fools page with transformers in it just for lols
omg yesssss
Optimus Prime, protector.
Well Tom i have to say its cool to see you branching out like this! If your intrested I highly recommend Transformers Prime, by far the best version of the TF universe.
Well that's different! And I'm glad it got you out of your comfort zone, Tom. That helps you learn new things. :)
Optimus Prime: Autobots, transform and roll out! Templar minion: Oh god, there's more of them!
The Templar are going to be on the receiving end Optimus Prime's beliefs on the rights of sentients.
Never expected this crossover but I love it if the Autobots and Decepticons were in two kinds the war between species would have ended much quicker
If that's your first mech drawing you did amazingly. And yeah, Optimus' design has changed in pretty much every incarnation of him over the years, so references wouldn't be consistent.
Extreme Desolation!
The sketch I didn’t expect, but enjoyed anyways. Good job on the design. And congrats to the one who suggested it.
I am optimus primal
As the old saying goes: "Any sufficiently advanced science is indistinguishable from magic" and "Any sufficiently analyzed magic is indistinguishable from science".
Oh Hell Yeah! Optimus Prime! He makes any universe better.
Hasbro has all Transformer TV series up on their YouTube site. Including the first movie.
The 1982 movie is still one of my all-time favorite movies. Even as an adult it's good.
I need to see this colored in an everything now
Give it to Yawg for the duty.
Oh my God i absolutely adore this! I was a bit young for g1 but i enjoyed it a lot when i was a wee lad, even if the simple plot was too much for 6 year old me. I kinda fell away from the series after Bay became synonimous with transformers and decided to turn it into COD. That being said i recently watched Transformers ONE and loved to heaven and back. That inspired me to ask for this. I honestly never expected it to win but it consistently got 2nd place for a couple months and i am glad it was choosen Again i love this Tom you got Prime fatherly robotic visage up to a T! > Freedom is the right of all sentient beings -Optimus Prime
If the Templar are freaked out now, wait till he transforms. Fuckers ain’t ever seen a semi before, let alone one that summons a trailer.
...a trailer that contains a car that also can become a 'magic golem'...!
Omg this is awesome! Wanna see more of Optimus
Agreed.
You're right on the mark with how you drew Optimus!
With how durable Transformers are in-universe...Yeah, I don't think even TRACE in full blown rage mode could do any noteworthy damage to Optimus. And don't worry, the little details change across iterations. You got the important stuff right to be able to tell it's Optimus. The rest can be brushed off as AU shenanigans.
I just finished the second episode about an isekaied Red Ranger... this Transformer Scenario is not so far fetched....
"Freedom is the right of ALL sentient beings" - Optimus Prime
As someone who has watched and collected TransFormers for the 40+ years they've existed. You got it spot on. With as many variations as there have been on dear old Optimus Prime you have a lot of room. The fact that this drawing has me thinking his voice as Peter Cullen means you hit the nail on the head. :) Excellent work as always.
Awesome!
Don't worry, Hasbro got your back ! And after all, they have the most massive and active furry fanbase of the world. ^^ You Keidrans are in good hands. XD
Which furry property does Hasbro own? MLP maybe?
Hmm... Now I want to see the other Optimus (Optimus Primal from Transformers Beast Wars) to encounter the Keidran...
Just imagine the keidran's reaction when optimus transforms
AMAZING Tom! Maybe out of your 'comfort' zone, but well within your fascinating talent set! Not to be an ingrate, COLOR!
Yeah... but AFTER 'Spectacles of true sight Nora'...!
I notice he's being very restrained in his defense.
Attempting to analyze they're weapon energy source!
You’re food! You’re doomed! 🤣🤣🤣 Robot joke! Just kidding!
If you gave Optimus lines we'd all read them in Peter Cullen's voice.
I ended up doing that on some of the comments.
I'd love to see the templar faces when he transforms! I mean, where does that weaponised trailer always come from?
...or the car transformer that's always inside said trailer...
Where Optimus Prime is, Megatron isn't too far. And I bet he's striking a deal with the Templar.
Why strike a deal when you can just commit take over and steal energy?
Surprised and intrigued at the title, I opened the app and WOW! My dude, that is an EXCELLENT Optimus Prime, absolutely bang on! And this piece overall is very fun. XD Marvelous job!
"Freedom is the right of all sentient beings." - Optimus Prime
Nice
This might be the best Crossover ever! 😅
Not even a big fan of transformers but this is hilarious. Good work Tom!
It's a good drawing though definitely an odd request.
Optimus be like "Talk to the hand." to his not so neighborly Templars 😁 Been seeing this one in the poles for a while, way to persist technic_bot and nicely drawn Tom! 😎👍👍
I read your comment like Arnold Schwarzenegger
Honestly, with there being so many different redesigns for Optimus, I don't think accuracy is an issue.
This looks really good for any artist, and especially so for someone not used to drawing this kind of subject!
Peak cinema
Finally, my two favorite things, transformers and Twokinds, have been combined into the ultimate sketch, I really hope this gets colored lol
Looks good
Now I wanna watch the old animated series I watched as a kid lol
if your talking about g1 it's free on the hasbro pulse youtube channel
The Templar stands no chance lol
Hello it looks great 👍.. can't wait to see the color ver
For someone doing something out of the usual. I would say this is a valiant effort of Optimus Prime.
After seeing Transformers X MLP stuff, this doesn't even seem weird kkkkkk
I've seen Transformers X Sonic once.
The Templars... Are doomed
Clearly he crashed into a wall in Truck form and got Isekied to Mekkan
well now we need a sequal piece with the decepticons teaming up with the templars lol
It came out fantastic :D
Proving once again that freedom is the right of all sentient beings.
Tom... dude... you NAILED the look perfectly!
*Transforms into a truck and drives away, even tooting his horn as he does so*
"Freedom Is The Right Of All Sentient Beings." Optimus Prime.
For something so far out of your comfort zone, it actually looks pretty darned good! Good opportunity to stretch those muscles and show us more of your talent!
This is awesome!! You nailed the Optimus look, it’s so funny and awesome seeing this crossover
I expect a lot of strange and maybe off drawings... This... This is not what I was expecting and it's awesome!!
This is sick! You knocked it out of the park!
"But all of them seemed to have some details different" is par for the course for characters with over a dozen official artists like this. You did great!
This is pretty cool
I saw the title and was like “there’s no way” but this put the biggest nerdy smile on my face. Freaking beautiful!
