My guess is that Red didn't do the proper research, and just picked out a park that sounded nice, hence why Raine doesn't seem that upset. She understands that he's kind of a dummy and that he means well.

Also, it's Red's fault that the child's mother thought what we all know she was thinking. If you don't want people to think that you're going to get raunchy in public with your "slave", don't bring your shape shifting girlfriend to a contextually questionable location in human territory, at least until people understand the situation. Sythe or Zen would be easier pairings, Red is more interesting. I like the pic either way.
Id much prefer that Sythe and Raine got together, or even Zen. Both have been open and accepting of Raine being both human and keidran but Red has been treating it like its some disease that they have to cure so she can be Raine again. All he says is how they can "cure" this and stuff like that.
I think im pulling for Zen more. We dont know much about him but from what we do know he feels like one of those hidden softy types. He acts confident and cool but really uses that to cover his shyness. I cant help but think of that picture of him trying to give the flower to the girl but getting all nervous. Very opposite from the Zen we've seen and ya its not in the comic so not really canon but hard to ignore it.
Never been a fan of Red and I'd rather see anyone else date Raine than him.
