kryptonite easily clears here -- the song itself isn't exactly reinventing the wheel but it's just a really catchy, fun to listen to rock tune (that honestly feels just as alt rock as post grunge). meanwhile hanging by a moment ,,,, exists

I made a list of artists that fit his criteria and he could possibly cover. Of all of them, I think the most likely are Lulu, U2, the Black Eyed Peas, and Chris Gaines. I know Justin Timberlake, Katy Perry, and Will Smith have all released albums since their videos, but Todd usually isn't this timely with Trainwreckords, and I just don't think he has much to say about them that he didn't say in the original videos.
Now I want to see Todd make What Makes This Song Awesome for Kryptonite.

I don't know what "Hanging by a Moment" even is but it can't be worse than Kryptonite. The biggest "Local Band Not Very Good" moment on mainstream radio in my lifetime.
everyone's saying U2 or Lulu but i'm kind of wondering if it's one of many one-hit wonders who shot themselves in the ass with their followup
When Todd made the initial announcement, I went to his wiki and looked through ALL of his past One Hit Wonderland and Trainwreckord episodes to see which one would get a sequel I couldn't find any ideas. The only other one I could think of that could come even remotely close to being a sequel episode was "Give My Regards to Broad Street" by Paul McCartney (since he did a Trainwreckord on a Ringo album).
Can't interact with Kryptonite without referencing one of the GOAT DBZAMVs of that era. To this day I hear Gohan's scream before the lyrics start every listen.

The "not necessarily a trainwreckords" part makes me think it's going to be a full video on Rattle & Hum or a different U2 record.
I hope this will not be Pop slander, because I kind of like that album.

I guess I'll hold out some hope that this new "Trainwreckords" episode will be a wildly fun surprise. But even if it ends up being what it sounds like everyone else expects... I'll still be thrilled, because I love your "Trainwreckords" series, and there's such a story to that friggin' Lulu album!
