A whole year has gone by...
It's been exactly one year since I released TGWCM, and it's honestly hard to believe that it's already been that long...
Back when I was working on Chapter 1, I managed to finish it in about two months and genuinely thought I'd be able to release a new chapter every three months. But it turns out I underestimated the amount of work it would take... and overestimated myself at the same time.
I'm sure a lot has changed in my readers' lives over the past year.
Meanwhile, I'm still pretty much the same person, in the exact same place I was a year ago when I released the Prologue, and the only real progress I've made has been here, working on this project, and nowhere else, to be honest.
Some of my characters have changed quite a bit, while others have only received minor improvements compared to their very first versions:
I also feel like I've reached my current limit when it comes to visuals.
I'm sure it's possible to make them even better, but I don't think I'm capable of doing that just yet, so starting with Chapter 3, I don't expect any major graphical improvements on my end, and the visual quality will most likely remain at roughly the same level in future chapters.
To be honest, there's nothing particularly important about this post.
I just wanted to share some of my thoughts.
Lately, the thing that scares me the most is the possibility that I won't be able to finish what I've started if time keeps moving faster than I can keep up...
I often catch myself wondering if I'll even live long enough to see that day? Sometimes I even dream that I won't, because since 2022, I've come up with so many stories that I can't even imagine how many years it'll take me to finish even half of them.
Maybe I'm just being paranoid. Or maybe I'm just being sentimental right now because another year disappeared so quickly, and I only have two chapters of a single project finished. I really don't know.
Anything can happen.
I might end up canceling something because I won't be able to find the right "maps" due to the program's limitations (there are very few of them, and creating them from scratch is not exactly my strong suit), or I might simply decide that a particular story isn't worth my attention.
ll this uncertainty about the future makes it impossible for me to promise anything...
But even so, I'll keep hoping that one day I'll be able to bring at least some of them to life.

Don't worry, we'll still be here even if it takes you another year to release the full Chapter 3 ❤
Even though you didn't release that many updates in a year, I think you did a great job. As they say, "quality over quantity," so we'll just have to wait for the content you create, even if it takes a while.
I really hope you finish TGWCM; I love the game and am very grateful that you created it. I love the story and the visuals, and I hope you finish it one day—and I hope to be around to play this wonderful game.
I can't bear to see another good game die so early 💔
