One Nation Won't Fix Australia
Hello Patrons,
We've been working on a couple of videos related to One Nation. This one is a look at their policies and what, if anything, they are promising that has any substance. It'll come out later today but we're getting it to you a bit early, we just finished it. We've already noticed a bit of pushback from some of the short-form videos we've been putting out on One Nation.
We're interested in hearing what you think about some of the longer, stream-like videos we've been doing lately. Next on the list for that format we're thinking of going though some of the hate mail we've been getting from One Nation supporters, it'll be a lot of fun!
Thank you all for your support!

Can you do more 2-hour live reacts to ON propaganda that can be clipped for socials? Those videos with Jordan just being an absolute savage cunt are my secret obsession - keep up the good fight, comrades! The battle has just begun🔴
Can we gat a fact sheet out here summarising actual numbers that pain Labor in a positive light. maybe a few major achievements? I need a quick reference to point people to so they can shut up about all the negative stuff.
Just joined, anyone knows if FJ has a discord i can join please? Link i found online was expired
There was an article written by German politician in 2018 and I read it in the New York Times (free version here: East German men fuelling the far right https://gulfnews.com/world/europe/east-german-men-fuelling-the-far-right-1.60179084). She had interviewed East German men who had decided to march with ADF. And what she found was The reason people are flooding to the ADF, likely to be same reason disaffected men are flooding to One Nation, something that it is a phenomenon across the Western world: People do not join populist groups when their life is going well. They join them when they feel their life is going shit. 1. People feel that they don’t have good secure work around 25% of Australians are in casual work as we saw during Covid just fact checked me on that please, as I might be out of date; 2. on top of that there’s a cost of living crisis which has not really been dealt with wages have not caught up with inflation and we still are dealing with inflation and price gouging of the major supermarkets. 3. Young people especially young men are finding it hard or actually impossible for anyone on a median income to purches their first home 4. which means they will find it hard to find a woman to partner up with and have a family. And the prospect of not being able to have children because the economic situation sucks and you can’t provide a life for a family is a really huge driver for men. I think a lot of politicians underestimate this drive These are not just economic but incredibly strong biological drivers and a lot of men feel that they are missing out and so who are they gonna blame? They gonna blame the young immigrants - who in the article it’s acknowledged but we haven’t acknowledged it here yet in our discourse are mainly young men. Most immigrants coming to Australia a young man who are often more handsome more dynamic more educated than the locals are. The immigration system favours young educated men with PhD or other degrees to come to Australia on working visas and it favours them more they’re single over if they’re married (more points towards getting Permanent residence). People on skilled vises are more likely to get permanent residency if they‘re single — so this group highly competitive to this Aussie male with only high school or TAFE. The local man might not even fully realise that he feels threatened by these males who have immigrated to Australia but he can feel that it’s harder to get a girlfriend and he can feel for the economic reasons. It’s harder to get a house and he can’t compete and if he sees this young attractive man with PhD is coming and dating the local girls he’s gonna feel threatened by them And he might not even realise that the system actually favours this young man to come to Australia rather than families who would not be a threat to this hypothetical Aussie male. And this is the core of why young man are going towards the far right or I should say popularism everywhere they feel like their way of life is threatened. So if you really want to cut through to people you need to address these issues in a way that people think they’re being listened to . So you need to highlight what labour is doing or The Greens are doing to make a system fairer so that single men (and women - don’t get me started on women’s oppression — but we used to being oppressed right, so we put up with a whole lot more then men do, and maybe we can marry one of these dynamic immigrant men with a PhD too so we’re not completely losing and not running to ON, maybe if most immigrants were Ukrainian beauties we would be protesting in the street 😅) — anyway the policies so young people can get a home need to be highlighted. honestly we shouldn’t have a immigration system that favours young single men to come here because we will end up with the population in-balance in long term and more hostility between the local males and the immigrant males over the most basic fucking thing which is competition for women. And this is what One Nation essentially has tapped into — this disgruntled Aussie male. And there’s no point framing this in terms of racism and it could be racist. In some cases, yes, One nation is certainly associated with Nazis, and Pauline is racist, but how they win over big groups of people who are not actually racist is through these biological drivers and then they teach them how to be racist. Listen to the kinds of things these people talk about. They talk about raising the birth rate of Aussie women. That’s not really about wanting Aussie women to have more kids to reduce immigration. That’s about wanting Aussie men to be able to have more kids because they feel like they’re not having kids. The reason I write all of this is not because I agree with it but because I’ve spent 20 years trying to understand why people move to the far right and what drives them to do this . You have to understand your enemy before you can defeat them. I would also be highlighting Pauline’s relationship with billionaire Gina Rinehart and other hypocrisy because it doesn’t hurt to point out the hypocrisy but there’s no point claiming the moral higher ground to get these people. You have to tell them what measures you’re gonna give them.
Its not a new trend. What you described for example is almost beat by beat how the nazis came into power, how the russian revolution happened etc. When young people's lives are hit hard they flock to the far right. But interesting read none the less, thanks for that.
Jordan, you didn't much cover the specific subject in this video, but I'd love to hear your views on it: WHAT THE FUCK is going on with our generation (Millennials) and One Nation? We should be one of the last voting brackets that find appeal in the wingnuts, yet they seem to be polling surprisingly high with us.
Sadly many of us are becoming what boomers became. Same thinking. Same idioicy. Thats the trend im seeing
Just bully her for being a ginger. Hit her with every ranga joke under the sun
I prefer the long form polished over the long form waffle, but I still watch it anyway.
Did you guys see the Barnabay Joyce interview saying he would remove home ownership for permanent residents? These people are crazy, they just make it up as they go https://www.skynews.com.au/opinion/andrew-bolt/barnaby-joyce-forced-to-redo-one-nation-policy-answer-after-embarrassing-blunder/video/91d704e93e5ab684303ee0bd280573f0
Lesbian Sugar Momma. 👏
A video destroying One Nation hate mail is a great idea! Nothing better than watching Jordies obliterate really dumb and poorly thought out arguments
The long stream videos are okay but they get boring if you put out too many too quickly. I did enjoy watching you rip into dumb property investors. But there has to be comedy too, if you only do angry rants then you'll become hard to watch.
Even stone soup had a stone. Classic!
If you want to hit ON where it hurts, you tell them that they don't actually care about Australia, what they care about is the idea of Australia. They like the cosy thought of a country where they can sit on their arse and live comfortably with some of the best standards in the world (no thanks to them) whilst also abusing the right to complain about how shit their life is (not to mention insulting their leaders without the repercussion of being executed or imprissoned) and not actually do anything to build the society they preport to care so deeply about. It's just another bubble of the nepotism venn diagram
Populism is the answer for people that don't have any patience and want to take a sledgehammer to the system
I like the short form and the recent stream type videos. Happy for this to be easier more laid back content we get somewhat regularly but looking forward to more long form polished video on the same subjects. ... Please don't turn into pyrocynical.
Long-form on the main channel (live/semi-live)—where you can riff and roast the brain rot—is strong content. Fully on board with that. For short-form, Instagram’s probably the move since that’s where most of the discourse (and, let’s be honest, a small army of suspicious bot accounts) is doing its thing and shaping opinions. Also, I reckon the key is getting people to see the long-term upside of the budget’s fiscal policy. Pushing that if we keep obsessing over the short term, we’ll stay stuck in this loop of stagnation—And it doesn’t help that a lot of the narrative is being nudged by the wealthy and well-connected, who just so happen to benefit from everyone focusing on quick wins instead of structural change. On the One Nation angle, continue to lean into highlighting the need for experience, qualifications, and a solid understanding of how the parliamentary process actually works—basically, what it takes to achieve real economic outcomes for Australia, both domestically and on the world stage. That’ll resonate with people who are still on the fence. The hardcore supporters though…. Also, keep hammering the real-time stuff—like migration trends actually declining, house prices easing in places, FMIA updates, all of that—since current tangible examples are more likely to cut through better. It’s a massive uphill battle, no doubt, but you’re one of the few who can actually break through the noise and make it land.
Tesla goes from 0 to 1939 in 5 seconds, 4 seconds less than Poor leans sugar mama's yacht.
We need more of this. There are a bunch of idiots i work with that are on the ON train and i think they actually think they can win. Interesting to see what happens with the Victorian election. Because if ON can win somewhere atm it's there.
I have the same issue at my work. And most of us have union memberships. But logic doesn't cut through.
I think we need a video which analyses how labor is tackling the One Nation situation. The current "discredit her" isn't going to do anything to sway people who are thinking of moving from Labor to ON. The democrats screamed at the rooftops what Trump would do and the people still blindly followed him because he said he will "make America great again". You see it on Socials - it doesn't matter what politician shows any proof - the ON lovers are locked on. They are fine with a SX offender being on the ON team...
They also don't see an issue with Gina funding her as they don't understand who she is.
I'm much in favour of more of the streams. It's an easy listen and he touches on a lot of little thing that don't make the cut in scripted content.
I'm not. Its what the pod is for.
Please do a big video on Hughesy his misinformation campaign is getting out of hand. He’s now spreading that Australia has the lowest standard of living in the OECD
Imagine saying this shit while having a fuck property portfolio!
I like the stream-like react stuff, though if Jordan wasn't such a clot with technology I'd also be interested in more actual streams like the attempted Hughsey one lmfao.
Agree, I've been liking the streams a lot, good to get an immediate take on more recent developments, but there's a lot of dead air and he gets a bit too distracted reading the paid comments. If I'm being a bit cheeky, I'd say he should take his own self-help advice and try and work on those tech skills/look at other streamers to see how they manage it. It'd really up the ante and make the whole streams a lot more punchy.
Thanks crew! Seriously struggling to keep giving a shit nowadays. Theres a part of me that wants to continue, wants to keep having conversations and fight misinformation, but there’s a big part of me that says “who gives a shit. Why bother” Sounds gay as shit, but your videos remind me to keep going, to keep struggling, and to keep pushing. So thankyou for that. Maybe I should sub to jordies self help lol
Don’t sub that’s gay as shit
