4 Cornered (+ Patreon Suggestion Thread)

[Early Access]
Hello Patrons,

Use the comments on this post to suggest upcoming videos, popular suggestions will be made into a poll shortly. Note: We currently already have videos filmed covering NSW Police and the protests last month, one about John Barilaro's new job, and one about One Nation's policies (or lack thereof).

This video comes first though. Jordan is continuing his crusade against the ABC, this time we're specfiicially looking at 4 Corners. The Mahmood Fazal fiasco isn't the only scandal 4 Corners has been in lately, this video takes a look at some of those other incidents. We're putting forward the case that 4 Corners, and the ABC by extension, has been put on a pedestal that they do not deserve. At the very least if you're a source for a story, do not trust them.

Thank you all for you support and catch you soon for the poll,
The FJ Crew

You could add in their failed hit job on the South Australian Labor Government the week before their election. Piles of scare mongering.

A video looking at roughly when it would be "safe" for an Australian government to disobey the US - people calling for albo to 'take a strong stance' (or something like that) in the days after the US decapitated Venezuela seemed insane to me. As though they were saying 'I want our government to get America to do that to us'. But I'm a fish biologist, not a geopolitical expert so I'm probably missing something.

Make a video on the Rum Rebellion. The funny thing about is that this was the second time the governor of New South Wales, William Bligh, was overthrown. The first time was during the infamous munity of the HMS Bounty. They made 4 movies about the munity but the Rum Rebellion is also pretty funny.

Another idea would be a video about the New South Wales construction industry and just how cooked it is https://www.afr.com/work-and-careers/workplace/major-contractor-nrl-sponsor-accused-of-intimidation-campaign-20250905-p5msoi

I’m pretty sure the ABC just plagiarise my work with their new foreign AI Facebook page accounts article there are no new findings that 21-year-old essentially high of ADHD medication found while waiting for the mechanic to give me roadworthy where is my $1 billion a year going?

I reckon it'd be great to get a piece that's displaying the good things Albo's doing in his first term as PM and what we might be able to expect if he's reelected. Despite still hearing sentiment of "I hate the government" without being told any legitimate reasons behind it, it would certainly be helpful to have a consolidated and articulate breakdown of the good work the Labor party is doing to help counter these people still stuck in the "The Government's Corrupt" brain prison.

D

Would love to see Jordan cover the Tasmanian salmon and its ongoing environmental native destruction; any follow up on the guy who punched the illegal forestry crew; anything on horse or dog racing being phased out; the whole importing of us beef and chicken; any conspiracy theories Jordan has

Have a look at “Midland Bacon” in Victoria, the family owned slaughterhouse where one of the workers (also a family member) was charged with raping one of the pigs along with other filmed acts of violence to animals including blunt force trauma, and now they are somehow allowed to apply to expand their facility. https://www.abc.net.au/news/2024-03-11/animal-cruelty-bestiality-charge-at-victorian-piggery/103572102 ABC soz lol The proposed expansion also threatens the habitats of animals and plants who live in the Mansfield Swamp Wildlife Reserve, directly opposing the Shire Council’s own Environment Strategy on protecting water sources and native species. https://www.farmtransparency.org/actions/justice-olivia-stop-midland-bacon-from-expanding The application is being heard on March 17th so this might be too late (or hopefully they are rejected) and this suggestion might be pointless, but at least you know it’s not just British Tory MPs who like putting their dicks in pigs, it’s the people who produce the meat that goes on Aussie plates, committing horrific crimes without impacting their happy family business.

The part about the ABC's lie about McBride's intentions that flabbergasts me, is that they're saying he leaked documents about war crimes to a journalist, to cover up the war crimes... When anyone trying to cover up anything criminal or not, would not hand evidence of it to a journalist, that would be the very opposite of what they would try to do... Lying so blatantly to the public like that is something I'd expect from Trumps republicans and yet the ABC did it here and people will fall over themselves to defend them and that lie.

Would love an update on the energy grid. From what I can find and see, it looks like Albo would need one more term to get us to a "point of no return". We're look pretty good atm, and projected to be in a good way by the end of the year (let alone by the next election.)

Not sure if you have time for silly skit videos anymore but another installation of calling the "call for a good time" numbers in tunnels could be really funny, especially if you went spelunking the depths of gay nightclub bathrooms also explaining the privatization of Qantas and the commonwealth bank was really really cool and educational, more niche economic policy!! love from america

A video outlining the accomplishments of LEAN (Labor Environmental Action Network) and its importance of pressuring and shaping policy around environmental issues as well as the potential for workers in the environmental field (also how they're pretty much what the Greens claim to be except they actually get shit done)

So the first rule of Apartheid South Africa was to destroy the public broadcaster. So Murdoch media has been undermining the ABC since, to my knowledge, 2000s. Ita Buttrose was put in place overstepping actual applicants. In ABC radio suddenly we were getting Murdoch media particularly the Australian journalists standing in for drive time presenters. That 4 Corners is now a dumbed down program after real presenters have now left. Is music to Murdoch media. They have started on the BBC about 2019. Getting Donald trump to have a go at BBC means the writing is on the wall. Public broadcaster’s will be a thing of the past. Thanks to a fascist agenda of democracy.

But when it comes to needing support to stay out of jail, he jumps onto the lefty bandwagon. In saying that i gave often when he asked up until he got his holiday. Interesting to see how he behaves when help isnt needed anymore... meh..

The 'independents' have really been flying under the radar during the liberals' crash and burn, having not worked for the windfall of wets voters they're about to get. A hit peice on the most egregious independents would only be fair. They get a free pass from pressure to adress every issue in the news cycle, a little pressure on the issues 'they actually care about' is sorely missing.

"In Defense of Pol Pot - Patreon Only" I have this idea based on what you said in your Privatisation Patreon Vid where you expressed interest on wanting to defend him. I don't know much about the guy but i do know he is regarded as one of the most infamous leaders and blamed for mass atrocities. So to see you wanting to relay defense is very interesting to me and want to hear more of it based on your perspective.

The declining partisanship and poor behaviour found in Senate committees. Parliamentary inquires should not be a platform for political debate. Perhaps the whining of Senator Patterson and Pocock isn’t worth your time but debating issues about transparency and the PRRT through a parliamentary platform and not a government platform is a gross abuse of parliamentary privilege.

A
Andrew · March 11, 2026

UK politics is different because of the first past post system and non compulsory voting. It isn't clear where preference lies it's only clear who wins on the day. UK Labour also broke their connection with Unions which was a bad move and anyone who suggests it to ALP today are insane.

J

Jordie, I get the feeling that this will be covered in the NSW police / last month's protests. But I need an overview of Chrissy Minns nsw labor government. I think im smart enough to understand the game he's playing to progress the state and drag it out of the shambles it was in. But a over view of the good he has done (or bad) for the state, both known and unknown would help. Because, as you know, us mush heads can't do all the thinking for ourselves and need you to do the thinking for us. As always, you're a legend and I look forward to seeing more of your work.

Hey mate, wouldn't mind a video addressing many of the criticisms of Labor being flung about at the moment. Topics could include: social media ban for under 16s, handling of the Bondi massacre (Minns especially), the impact of the 5% deposit scheme, CSIRO/R&D funding/staff cuts, gambling reform being stopped at the last minute, backing the US/Israeli attack on Iran, etc.
