0.8.2d / 0.8.1n Updates
Hey everyone!
Some updates are out for the game!
Here's the patch notes!
0.8.2d / 0.8.1n Patch Notes:
Features and Additions:
Didn't add 109 lines of dialogue.
Definitely didn't add 13 new cgs.
Didn't add one repeatable scene.
A new app can appear on your phone in Act 2.
There is now a calendar in your bedroom. It doesn't do anything, I promise.
Changes:
Renderer fallback now remembers the last renderer which worked appropriately.
Vulkan is now the default renderer, fallback still works for devices without compatibility.
Game now uses about 60% less RAM.
Lilly's newer expressions are now available during dinner with her and Gigi.
Fixes:
Fixed a small memory leak.
Fixed a bug where Summer's hair clip could be re-purchased after giving it to her.
Fixed a bug where saving the game during the dialogue that can appear when trying to open the UV light could corrupt your save.
Fixed a bug where rolling back the dialogue while sleeping would cause the day count to not roll back, forcing the day count upward.

A optimization is always good, but i'm impresset of what you have made PineBrook. Normally, my laptop will take a few minutes to open the game, but in this versoin, only take a few seconds to the game start! Well Done!!
Thanks! The TL;DR of it is that it would preload stuff in the background during first boot and due to a special flag, that preload wasn't happening silently and instead was preventing anything else from happening. It would've been understandable if there was a loading screen along with it but I couldn't even tell that it needed it on my system. The changes made do add more loading time overall but much MUCH less needed to load at once so systems with less RAM or HDDs should have a much better experience overall. I'm really happy to hear it's worked out as I hoped, Thanks!
beautiful
can we keep the artwork as is not a big fan of the 3-D models
It's an intentional design choice here
