I’m visually impaired and I’m enjoying the accuracy so far (I’m not fully blind just can’t see shit unless I’m a foot away from it). But it’s true that people have very distinct habits and sounds to their speech, it’s a little gross but since my hearing is what I rely on most I can even sometimes hear if someone has asthma or if their teeth are crooked. I’m enjoying this aspect of a doppelgänger story a lot!

I really loved this. One of the things papameat said at the very end about someone looking into a mirror and catching that fisheye lens view, I immediately thought of the reflected glass people having those sort of distortions themselves. It wouldn’t really make sense for this specific story but I love the idea of body horror, not where the creature is necessarily the standard elongated limbs strange body (although I do love that) sort of stuff, but where it’s more something like that, kinda junji ito maybe.

I am all cosy with my cuppa tea and I am just LOVING Hunter effortlessly proving an immersive story with his voice acting and reading. This is one of my worst fears, especially late at night. Most of the time mirrors don't bother me, but sometimes it feels like my reflection is an entity staring back at me, and I'm just waiting for it to blink or move on its own and start crawling through. When I reach for something on the bathroom counter I half expect it to reach out and grab me to pull me in. I avoid my reflection as much as possible when I feel like this, and I never sleep with my bathroom door open or in front of my TV when it's turned off.

This is just my opinion, even as a paying patron, but I'm honestly just glad for any content. This has been the only podcast I have ever fully binged in a few months and became devastated by the fact I had to wait for more episodes to come out. I love this show, I love the hosts, I love that I'm alive at a time where I get to experience a lot of this online horror for the first time in this comedic fashion. Life gets busy for everyone, that includes content creators and they don't HAVE to make this podcast. I can understand the frustration behind paying and not getting the bonus episodes exactly one month apart or whatnot but it's new content that I get to ingest anyway and that just makes me happy.
