Monday Update - Whistler Recap!

Yo! We're back from Crankworx Whistler and getting back into the swing of things. Hope you had a good weekend.

Whistler Recap

Whistler was insane! We met a lot of players and pros and made a bunch of good industry connections.

• We had the game on display inside the Troy Lee Designs shop for a few days.

• We met Big Priv! Hopefully we can do some fun collabs with him in the future.

• We met Ollie Lowthorpe and got to demo an Archibald bike! Look out for Archibald to be added to the game in the future.

• We had a fun DH contest on the 1199 replica at Handlebar Pizza. Their pizza was amazing! Check them out if you're in town.

• We did a bunch of riding! I'll be uploading some riding clips to our YouTube channel soon.

• We watched the DH race and slopestyle.

Overall, it was a great trip and we connected with a bunch of cool brands that will be making it into the game in the coming months!

Here's what we're focusing on this week

If you're new here, we have a Team Sync every Monday where we talk through our plans for the week. These are the notes from our meeting.

Michael

• Building out the third-person rider animations and bike states. We're putting these ahead of the wheel physics fixes because good animation makes the biggest first impression. Part of the steeze pass.

Maggie

• Working on the bike shop interior, which will be used for the customization menu.

• Wrapping up the customization system so gear swaps and idle animations look right.

Cedric

• Working on more trails and polishing up Zone 1 to get ready for Steam Next Fest.

Damien

• Finishing up the Atherton ebike.

• Working on Zone 1 POIs.

Andreas

• Finishing the Fox gear.

• Here is a preview of some gloves he just finished working on:

Joe

• Covering our social media this week while Julian's off.

• Working on the new UI this month. Plan is to have it finished by end of the month.

Julian's on vacation and Bryan's catching up on client work after the trip, so it's a bit of a lighter crew this week.

Lucy says hi.
