Monday Update - June 29, 2026

Yo! Hope everyone had a nice weekend.

If you're new here, we have a Team Sync every Monday where we discuss our plans for the week. These are the notes from our meeting.

General Updates

  • We're still working on getting customization in the game. That has been our priority, and the goal is to have something working before Whistler Crankworx next month.

  • I don't think we will have new builds this week. The behind-the-scenes part of customization is coming together, but the player-facing stuff isn't ready yet, so we don't want to push it half-done. We might drop a smaller quality-of-life update instead, things like day/night adjustments, a flashlight toggle, and picking the time of day in single player. But no promises! It's also a short week for US team members due to Independence Day.

Here's what we are focusing on this week.

Michael

  • Building out the backend for customization.

  • New rider IK system in place, which is the start of the "steeze pass"

  • Pulling in the latest rider models from Maggie once they're verified.

Maggie

  • Finishing up the updated rider models and handing them off to Michael to get into the project.

  • Checking Michael's approach on the new gear-swapping shader to make sure it's the best way to go.

Cedric

  • Building a replica of the 1199 Whistler track for our Crankworx trip.

  • Pushing to get a first draft finished by the middle of next week.

Damien

  • Working on the ski jump POI area and a bridge that connects into the village.

  • Starting on the partner gear and bike assets for the Whistler event.

Joe

  • Wrapping up the HUD UI redesign and then moving on to the challenge menu.

  • Whistler event planning.

Bryan

  • Sorting out the brand assets and a one-pager so we can reach out to partners cleanly.

  • Reviewing the Next Fest launch plan with Julian.

Julian

  • Taking over our Twitter account and getting regular posts going again.

  • Looking at refreshing the Steam page ahead of the Whistler event.

  • Usual social content.

That's the plan for this week. Probably no big feature drop, but maybe a small quality-of-life update.

I spent Sunday morning taking some photos of shelter dogs. Here's one of my favorites. Hope you have a great week!
