Night stroll in Palm Harbor - NFS World 2 x Assetto Corsa progress update
Hi all! Just want to share the progress of NFS World 2 x Assetto Corsa.
As a reminder, I'm working to add the NFS Undercover map into the mod, bringing together maps from 3 NFS games: Most Wanted, Carbon, and Undercover.
Traffic Progress
All the new areas now have traffic lanes! It always takes so much time to prepare them 🙈
In case you find them interesting, here are some traffic statistics :
1063 intersections
2656 lanes
1451.5 km / 901 miles length
Night light
I also started turning the lights on in Tri-City Bay. Unfortunately, quite a few of buildings don't have lighted windows. I don't plan to fix those since it would be too much manual work.
That said, there are enough lit buildings that night driving still feels good.
Next up
Still looking for ways to improve performance
Adding cosmetics like smoke coming out of chimneys and lighthouse light beam
I'm still aiming to share the map with you guys this year. Fingers crossed! 🤞

I was able to play it in vr with traffic and I got emotional, like nostalgia hit me, keep up the good work man. This is a mod that words cant describe it.

As of now, no idea~ But I'm aiming to have it ready this year, hopefully before December 2026.

Thanks! And yes, I did try KN5 streaming but it gave me worse performance somehow. Maybe I used it incorrectly 😅 I will try to understand it better and see if it can help.
