Weekend Painting Projects!
On the weekends I just try to relax and do chill things. One relaxing past time is to paint minis, so today I took a crack at some recent minis that I printed.
First we have the Young Gold Dragon. This is one of my favorite of my recent updated dragon models. I used a black primer with dry brushed white paint to start this off then used thinned out gold paint from Plaid to slowly build up the medium tone. Then after laying down a layer of shade I continued the process in the highlights.
Then we have the Assassin bug. This was a simpler paint job of just slowly bringing up the color from the deep base to its high lights. I did my best to avoid painting the wings as they are fine as is with Monocure Clear resin. This is also by far the most delicate of all the minis I painted so it was a real challenge to not break anything lol.
Anyway I'm going to go chill. I'll get back to some modeling on Monday. Just thought I'd share with you guys some of my other works. Take care :)
