This month's contest delves into the weird, creepy and other worldly! Got a beholder you're proud of? Maybe a Slaad you know is spot on? Now its time to make them shine!
As with the previous contests:

Aboleth. It's a very smooth creature so hard can't really dry brush or wash very well to add detail. http://imgur.com/a/rUXP926
Went with the Updated Mindflayer, forgot how hard it is to print and paint something so brittle and small. https://www.instagram.com/p/CC98lTPBOQr/
I went with a Nothic, since that was my D&D group's most recently encountered aberration. https://i.imgur.com/bkdceK6

My Aberration of choice was "Ygorl, Lord of Entropy." Printed on my ender3: https://imgur.com/a/sjSam9L
We've already submitted our greater flumph and Elder brain in previous competitions, so we figured that something else had to be used this time. A bit of a fishy on land in this case, the Aboleth is not pleased with the situation. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/489110245633818656/735447322388987944/IMG_0487.JPG

I painted up a really alien looking version of the Originholder! https://www.instagram.com/p/CC1Zb1KHMqj/?igshid=72mi4woa9a6h
Damn, that’s one of the best looking beholders I’ve ever seen!
I decided on Xanathar as a fiend beholder. https://photos.app.goo.gl/VCJVjN21K5aajucv6

Excellent!
My take on the fiend beholder. Who even let a beholder into the nine hells? That should be illegal. https://imgur.com/a/24RvVRP
Agreed! The nerve! Lol
Aberrations means mimics to me and The Mimic Master is the best of them to me. https://www.instagram.com/p/CCtUzzvBIJ2/
https://imgur.com/gallery/3FBMrIh Hidden inside a fountain, this mindwitness acted as a broadcasting system for DJ JazzyMcbraindeath and his musical mindflayers to control to an entire town while far below it. After the mindflayers were killed by the party, they adopted the mindwitness and called them "Squish". Squish now looks after their chickens.
I'm submitting my interpretation of Miguel's Self Portrait 😜 https://www.instagram.com/p/CCUi01QDgFz/?igshid=tzdcnfdxfqx2
Nice!
