Vertex the Gelatinous Cube ready for Pax Unplugged!
Here is Vertex, played by Ryan Hartman of the C-Team, now ready for Pax Unplugged! He is hollow on the inside so a mini can actually fit in there lol
Painting him was pretty easy as he's made of clear resin. I just used two layers of blue wash then covered him with a glossy varnish.
I also made a new Gelatinous Cube from this fella. That's in the O - Ooze folder.

Omg, this thing is adorable. And deadly.
This is awesome! But how did you achieve this efect? Did you only paint it on the inside?
One layer of shade on the outside. One on the inside. Then a layer of gloss varnish to top it off :-)
If you get a chance while you are at PAX, you should check out Trailer Park Shark Attack! with Karl Keesler as the GM. I can't recommend him as a GM or that scenario enough!
