Today Marks 5 Years of 3D & D&D!
Today marks my 5th year of 3D modeling and printing my own D&D minis and sharing the models for free with the world. Here is my first ever 3D print of a Black Dragon made up of ovals from Tinkercad.
It's all thanks to Jen really. She pushed me to get back into 3D art because she felt it was such a waste to just ignore my skills. I can't believe I doubted her and myself.
I've come a long way but there is so much more I must learn. Thank you all so much for your support and kind words. I can't wait to take on the next project :-)

And your black dragon makes me smile 😍
Hehe thank you!
Serious thanks to Jen and to you for sharing your gifts!!
She's the best :-)
Congrats, Miguel! You're a huge gift to D&D and 3D printing.
Why thank you!
Lucky dog. Wish I had a woman to support and believe in me.
Yeah I did struck gold not gonna lie
Mike Wasoski and Cecilia's kid in the background there looks happy to be alive! It's a great dragon too.
Lol thanks
I'm new to 3D printing. I want to day thank you for your designs and glad you kept at it for this long. I am also a sucker story about love and supporting eachother. THhanks to Jen too.
And I'll be at it for a long time too :-)
Thank you Miguel 🙂🍻💖
:-)
Thank you for doing what you do Miguel!
Hey as long as I can have fun while doing it I'll do this for a very long time :-)
Thank you for doing what you do. My gaming table would be much less exciting without you!
Aww shucks :-)
Thanks Jen! But seriously, thank you, Miguel, for making the awesome models for us, and for making them available for free. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to support you, and get access to the models themselves, and for commercial purposes without much of the hardships other modellers or providers set us up for.
Hey we do what we do :-)
Thank you
Thank you too!
Congratulation! Its amazing that the dragon is only out of ovals, quite cool and encouraging. I never sculpted anything more complex than a chest...
We gotta start somewhere :-)
I remember that dragon! I probably still have the STL somewhere from the old G+ 3D Printing for Games site. Congrats and thanks for sticking to it.
Thanks! Yeah I plan on keeping at it for a while
Honestly I feel like we all owe Jen a huge debt of gratitude for giving you that push because without it honestly the whole field of 3d printed tabletop would be different. You are the biggest contributor to to this part of the hobby by far and the fact that you give your models away is the example that many people now follow. Can’t wait to see what else you bring to this in the future.
Thanks! Yeah she's awesome lol
Congratulations!
Thanks!
Let me give you an ENORMOUS THANK YOU for your AMAZING work!!! You have conquered more printers and Rol tables than anyone in the 3d printing world. 👏👏👏👏 Respect
Thanks friend!
Well done, Jen. Our better halves make us better halves.
Agreed!
Thanks for making all our d&d sessions that much better
I'm just happy to help :-)
Congrats on being a fore runner to this industry :)
Thank you!
