The Rakshasas! Also a Remorhaz WIP!

Hello friends! The first models of the month are the Rakshasas from the new Monster Manual!

First off, yes the hands are backwards. They are supposed to be per the lore haha

But anyway this was a great mix of sculpting and modeling work. They started as basic noble models then went into full tiger mode which was fun to sculpt in. From what I read in the lore it looks like they can be any animal heads, not just tigers. Still, I went with the traditional look this time. I would be a fun idea to make swappable heads in the future like with the Animal Lord, but that's something I'll think about in the future.

For FDM printing for the male you'll get ok results printing it as is. But printing it on its back is what I recommend. For the Female you'll get your best results printing her on her back and be sure to angle her so her fingers are pointed upward so no supports are needed in her hands. Use flush snips to remove the supports on her dress and horned crown carefully.

Next up is the Remorhaz! I got started on this today but it still needs a lot of work. I'll continue this next week when I'm back from Dragoncon. I'm heading down to Atlanta tomorrow for the convention so my work will slow down a little until Tuesday. But when I have some down time from the silliness I'll do some modeling. I'll focus on Patreon Requests given that's what I usually do on Thursdays and Fridays.
