10 Years Married to the reason why I'm an artist :)
Today I proudly celebrate 10 years married to Jen. She's the reason why I'm doing this in case you're wondering. 12 years ago she introduced me to 3D printing, and proposed I make a mini for our D&D game. I had a degree in art but haven't practiced in years given I was focused on my military and government career. She basically dragged me to the DC library kicking and screaming but afterwards I was hooked.
Then the rest is history. I made one dragon. Reddit loved it. I made another. Reddit loved it. Then I said "Well I might as well make the whole Monster Manual". Five years later I'm an independent artist, retiring from govt work, and seven after that I'm here. It's all thanks to Jen and her believing in my skills, followed by me actually putting in the work :)
I'm writing this while on a train ride to our plans today btw haha. Anyway I just wanted to share. Stay amazing friends and, if you can, go hug someone who you know always believed in you. Take care and stay amazing :)

Congratulations on your 10-year milestone! My wife and I just celebrated our 20th anniversary on the 17th, so I can certainly appreciate the journey. Wishing you both many more happy years together.

I've been at a large govt contractor for the last 18 years. It is nowhere near as fulfilling as USING your minis for my D&D sessions. I could only imagine how awesome it is to actually BUILD them compared to that work. So, congrats and Happy Anniversary! And extreme thanks to Jen. Every successful man has a woman behind them driving it...well, so my wife tells me!
