New Requests: Kobold Barbarian & a Purple Worm Articulated!
Hello friends! Today I worked on more requests and made:
Purple Worm Articulated - so these types of models are all over the web so I feel a little honored to join this collection lol. Here is the Purple Worm. the dreaded horror of the Underdark, now articulated so you can move its body around. It doesn't need supports, though a brim wouldn't hurt. I printed mine today and it came out great! My players won't be very happy when they see this thing though lol. Full files are in Monster Manual - P - Purple Worm in all drives and posted here too.
Kobold Barbarian - I really do love kobolds lol. This barbarian kobold was an excellent modeling and sculpting project. I was gonna make his axe a little smaller but I think the oversized look adds some character to him haha. Full files are in Adventurers - Barbarians - Other Barbarians and posted here too.
More to come tomorrow! Enjoy!

I printed this and it printed great but it wouldn't articulate. It snapped soon as I tried to move it a little bit. Any advice?
Did you use supports? Supports are not needed for this nor a brim. It came off the plate just fine on my end. Sorry that happened
I so want to print this, but in its current configuration, it won't fit on my Prusa Mini+. Is there any way you could maybe coil it up or something so it will fit on a smaller build plate like the mini? Thank you!
Just printed two at a time on my Saturn at 50%, they work excellently and are so much fun lol.
The Purple Worm will print fine on an FDM machine? I typically aim for at least a 40° overhang angle, and some of those spikes and teeth are down to 20°! I’d love to print it though, it looks so cool! Any tips on printer settings? (I’m using an MK3.9)
I printed this in FDM. I recommend asking this in the FDM help channel in the discord for tips given I just printed this as is with no supports.
I didn't know I needed an articulated purple worm but now I want to print several
Nice!
I have had similar fun with an articulated sea serpent that repositioned its body segments between rounds, it a great way to get a bigger monster fight with the whole party with a puzzle element to it. Some party members distracting the head, some hacking away at the body, some avoiding getting hit by the tail and so on.
I will end up printing several of the worms once my wife and children see them.
Do it!
I love the worm! Gonna print a horde of these now
Excellent!
