"modern movies are bad" says the individual who watches 5 movies a year all from the same eternally milked franchises while processing them in a way to make the longest most useless video analysis possible. "modern writing is bad" coming from the person who saw the romantasy section at the bookstore and decided to run outside with their eyes closed pretending nothing else existed. "modern games are bad" says the person who literally only pays attention to major game releases through the most brainrotted cultural lens as they play their old game they don't realize is actually woke. "modern music is bad" says the person so afraid of new sounds they basically have autism level sound sensitivity, but in a cultural kind of way.

Yes! A fellow 100 kanojo enjoyer that likes it for the plot of a man with inordinate amounts of live and not the "plot"! Additionally I really appreciate you breaking down the distinction between the shallow reactionary hating and the deeper systemic hate of "it" cause on one hand things aren't really any worse than they've been before but on the other hand there is a clear ongoing event where people are being disenfranchised monetarily, quality, nutritionally etc.etc. (and its totally capitalism)
