I do love it when double standards are called out. Thanks for the video! A topic I'd love to see you cover is how the label "historically accurate" has been used in games, and other media, to avoid including compelling female characters. Women who fought the status quo in historically misogynistic civilizations/cultures and women from cultures that weren't nearly as misogynistic as we are led to believe, deserve some well-researched portrayals. IMO.
thanks for the suggestion! i think the idea and expression of historical accuracy is a really interesting topic, because a lot of time i think people pearl cutch it for the most ridiculous reasons like the ones you stated around women. I touched on this slightly in my legendary drops video, but it has been something i've thought about researching a bit but i'm not sure what angle that would take. definitely a possibility for the future!

First, you looked great, power to you for choosing comfort over the uniform, but even going halfsies you looked awesome. I wasn't ever a big fan of iDubbz and only ever saw the clip of him in the elf outfit jumping down and going "I'M GAY" once I saw the clip of him saying the n word next to a women I kinda figured he was one of the creators I'd best steer clear from. I had a vague inkling he had like a Joji moment where he moved on to do better with his life and just as Joji we have people that for one reason or another couldn't follow him along and just lament on where their transgressive funny boi went. Only difference I can tell is unlike Joji, iDubbz never actually stopped youtube like Joji did, and he had a GIRLFRIEND so it must've all been her fault. Also thanks for bringing up the last name discourse, I personally never liked that the last name is automatically "supposed" to be the mans, I'd much prefer to have an honest conversation of what we want in regards to that, but so many people act like "AIEEE YOU TOOK HER LAST NAME?! YOU FOOL!!! EVERYONE KNOWS THE YOUR GENES LOSE ALL POWER WITHOUT YOUR LAST NAME!!!!"
