One last thing on morality, I feel like you could sit most people down and they'd agree bad things can happen to good people and that evil people are getting away with stuff, but on individual case by case basis they still largely go "something bad happened to you? Must've done something? Why did you let those nudes get taken of you?" On the other end they'll see "sucessful" people get it some "hot water" and moan about cancel culture and how the issue isn't real, and if it is real it isn't that bad, and if it is that bad we gk right back to "well they must've done something to deserve it" you see it with the r Kelly p tapes and how people rallied behind him, with Kanye literally declaring in a music video all of his buds heil Hitler and unironxally going "they canceled him for saying the truth" or how the first amendment should cover Alex Jones harassing victims of candy hook. It's gross beyond measure and I honestly hope one day they can come to terms with how being so phobic to politics and any kind of nuanced discussion as being "cringe" and "ruining our videogames" when actually their "apolitcal" stance is what's digging them deeper into the hole.

Secondly (because i keep forgetting pressing enter causes the post to send), how does one (at the risk of triggering the worse sort of people) replace a culture? I'm not being rhetorical, I'm literally wondering how, like in a situation where a community is so thoroughly rotten, how can you transplant that with something better. I know you mentioned something about C9 and them taking some accountability and getting mango help but I kind of bristle at the idea of having corpos be arbiter of morality and what is "healthy behavior" like HR isn't your friend and should be treated like the typical traitor they are, I can agree sexual harassment policies are important but it leaves a bad taste in my mouth when more than likely every companies CEO has done unspeakable things on a monthly basis. Like if Bobby kotick (known sex pest) is still your ceo does it really help much if ubisoft has a sexual harassment policy? I guess what im asking is there a grass roots way to fix this instead of relying on the top down patriarchy to self regulate yet again?

Nowadays I end up watching hobby vloggers all the time, because 1. Hobbies are the only thing that bring me happiness in my life anymore (apart from friends); 2. People being happy about something they made is just awesome; and 3.
