2 Days Family Island Survival (No Food)
We often get asked if we’ll ever move back on land… and, well, the time has finally come!
We’ve left our crew aboard La Vagabonde and taken the boys to live on a deserted island for a little while.. that counts as 'land life' right? 😉
From catching our own dinner to setting up camp for the night, this was one of those episodes that reminded us just how good it feels to strip life back to the basics. No screens, no rush, just our little fam camping out on one of Palau's 350 + gorgeous islands!
We had so much fun filming this one, and as always, Riles and I are so excited to share it with you first! As always, none of this would be possible without your support, so thank you for keeping these wild adventures alive.
Let us know in the comments if you’ve ever gone bush or lived off-grid for a while ... we’d love to hear your stories. We’ll check back in a few days!
Love,
Elay, Riley, Lenny & Darwin
xx

The best. Thank U for going places, on our planet, that are real, but never expected to see up close and personal,
Dude! You're the spitting image of your father! And I dare say, his equal as a dad.
Great episode, guys, as always! Riles, I can't believe how practically identical you are to your dad when he was around your age now! Wow. One episode: three moustaches! Ha! :)
Episode has not posted to general YouTube yet?
Loved it !
What a wonderful family experience.
Another wonderful video! I agree, the Riley impersonation was EPIC! We were eating fish while watching.
Try as I might, I can't come up with a reason why you'd need to block out the torso of Lenny and Darwin? As usual, your video was GREAT!! Thank you.
The Youtube AI thinks he looks like a girl so that would result in demonitisation. (They have explained this previously)
Wowza! The drone shots were amazingly beautiful showing the surroundings. The blues . . . so many color hues! So glad you relived your childhood memories camping with generations before . . . Superb! Once again thanks for sharing your lives with us all . . . Eloise in Vermont
What if the boat drifted away and all you had was a guitar? Loved the Riley impersonation.
That little island was spectacular and what a place to teach the boys camping skills. The water was amazing.
What's the story on having to pixel out the tops on young boys???
No mozzies or coconut crab tent invasion? Cool..
Looks like a great time, nice landing on that fall from the coconut tree! Also loved what Riley shared about his time with his dad, made me think about my own time with mine. Thank you all for continuing to share these experiences.
