Our Voyage through the Philippines
You've got us for a FULL HOUR this week, with special guests (and friends) Jack & Fran! 🐟
Life far offshore of mainland Philippines has been full of surprises and jaw dropping beauty. Join us this week as we explore one of the most unknown Islands off the coast of the Philippines. This place has become one of the most memorable spots Riles and I have ever sailed to. Thanks to the kindness and spirit of the local community here, this voyage will always hold a special place in our hearts.
As always, hope you enjoy this early preview of this week's ep. As always, thank you so much for your support - we simply couldn't make these types of episodes without you!
We love filming these slower paced, unfiltered episodes for you all & are keen to hear your feedback on this one! What would you like to see more of? Sailing, adventure, family content? Let us know in the comments below...
Riles and I have been loving reading your comments while sailing out here on the blue, you guys are the best! 🙏
Love,
Elay, Riley, Lenny & Darwin

Really special episode guys, loved it
Loved it. Thanks 😄⛵️
Wow the rare Riley outro brought a tear to my eye 🥹 I also loved how goofy Riley and Elayna were with each other this episode
That was such a wonderful and exciting video! So much action with the caves and the racing. It is wonderful to see you interact with so many friends. And yes to that short haircut for Fran! So cute.
Well done, even though we’re on the outside in, you’ve given us a true feeling of being there alongside you
That was such a beautiful episode. ❤️ you are both really appreciating the memories and the experiences you are creating for yourselves and your boys and I just love that x
Guys, that was just exceptionally beautiful. I'm going to go to sleep tonight with such a much more positive view of humanity than I did when I woke up this morning. Thank you so much for living such an amazing life and for sharing so much of it with us. Seriously. Cheers! <3
What a wonderful and heartfelt hour long episode. I feel lucky to be able to experience it with you. Its so nice to hear you express how much friendship is helping you to become the good people you are! By the by, who is responsible for the powerful drone footage you so beautifully weave into your videos?
So beautiful! Truly obsessed with todays episode 🥹🤍🤍
Outstanding episode!🙏
I can fully understand you stopping the comments on YouTube. That would be enough to do anyones head in. Gorgeous island and so lovely to see the children playing. As Elayna mentioned you’d be pinching yourself for being so blessed. 🥰 You’re videos are till the best quality documentary’s on YouTube. Free of self indulgence and nudity. Seemingly a competition going on at the moment as to which YouTube channel can get naked the most without being turfed off the platform.😂 All the best for your family and remember to say over and over Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance is good. FalunGong is good. Makes a huge difference, trust me. Ellie included! Here you all are a Podcast to listen to which may give you some insights into the life of a FalunDafa/FalunGong practitioner https://open.spotify.com/episode/4PjzTR4QMFpxXvstb99xDU?si=qnrrysV8RumI87iZ9_YX6A
I think you nailed it on the ending Riley. I felt the love all the way through the video. I don’t know if it’s not enough or just the right amount of Ellie in these episodes, but she’s such a beauty 🥰 And that family of island inhabitants, what are the chances of you guys interacting with them as opposed to the 500 others? Well done 🥂
Lovely
I think Darwin is destined to be a great fisherman! Wonderful long video. Really enjoyed it and your ever growing friend/crew/children family.
It warms my heart seeing what Lenny and Darwin get to experience. One day, I hope to see your expression when they get their first fish, Riles.
bangus fish, pronounced baaang-ooos in the Philippines 😉
Ah gotcha! Thanks for this Jamie
Oh my goodness, to see this much silliness and joy! Elayna catching raindrops in her open mouth, dancing at the helm, and the knee dance. Thanks, Elay, for that little gift carried forward from years ago.
It does bring a tear to you eyes to hear Riley be so honest at the end. I am looking forward to the next hour long Video.. Love em keep them coming.
Where do 8 people sleep on board?
The hour longs are worth the wait. The cinematography is stunning. The family is feeling like Swiss Family Robinson in the best possible ways. Love it!
love the video!!!! I also enjoy the longer format.
Classic guys, you nailed it! One of those videos we’ll be watching a few times!🤙
I have to rush off to night shift but I’ll be waiting excitedly to indulge myself in watching another hour of SLV … love these extended ones so much ❤️
Loved this hour long video - to me, the most intriguing part of the time filmed was Riley sharing his personal thoughts on how this particular voyage (with Jack, Fran, and the La Vagabonde crew) touched his heart...as did the days with the island children. Thank you Riles for sharing your feelings with us. A remarkable journey for sure.
These hour longs are sooo good. This particularly is one of my favorites. Been watching Jack and Fran for a long time also and look forward to their video of this trip if they do one. I wouldn't blame them for just being on vaca. The boys are swimming so well and seem to enjoy the diving as much as Riley does. Well done.
Excited for this (as usual)!
That was lovely and amazing. Certainly was a wonder to see the boys swimming so well and confident. The people sailing with you all seemed like a big family rejoicing in the wonders everyone was surrounded by. Thank you for sharing such a world wonder of love and joy,
Awesome video. One of the best. Between the amazing photography, particularly moving music, and the family and friends, this one took me back to some of your older videos. And added as you stated near the end, a true family feel. Thank you.
Got love bombed by this video. From the lovely island people, your friends, and your charming children, my heart is so full! …and then, after looking up “anchor rode” , I had to also look up “Apache sand”, not having a clue what you needed from this type of sand to place your anchor. Listening back, (because Siri had no clue what it was), I realized you had only said “a patch of sand”. duh…. But, my heart is full. Felt I was right there with you! Beautiful video! Thanks!
What a stunning video ... and so much fun in parts .. thank you for sharing! It was wonderful to see Lenny & Darwin making friends with the island kids .. how welcoming were they, beautiful! 🤗❤️
Wonderful video ~ great work! Loved both boys swimming off the boat near the end . . . Living vicariously through you! 💙🙏💙
Sooo good
Awesome video guys! Any idea when the next live q&a will be? Cheers!
Amazing. You guys are the best. I couldn’t concentrate on what Riley was saying at about 46:00 with the one boob hanging out.
This is your most wholesome video to date. From the village with kids, to family time with the boys and friends, the lame dad jokes and goofy dancing we haven't seen in a while. Beautifully captured and to watch 👌
900 species of sea weed! #epic
Can’t wait to see it❤️ stay safe🙏
Love these hour long ones. You guys are living a dream
