US State License Plates: Every State, One Mod
One mod, one download: a license plate for all 50 US states. Each state has its
current standard plate, and 13 states have more than one. Twelve of the designs
are older ones, the classics people remember. 69 designs in total.
WHAT'S IN IT
- All 50 states, current standard-issue plate.
- Extra current designs where a state has more than one: Alaska (Standard Gold,
Grizzly Bear), Georgia (Peach, Peach Orchard, America 250), Maine (Pine Tree,
No Tree), South Carolina (Revolutionary War, In God We Trust), Tennessee (two),
Utah (Arches, Skier), and more.
- Twelve older plates: Alabama 1976 Bicentennial and 1997 Heart of Dixie script,
California 1963 black and 1982 Golden State, Connecticut 1974 and 1987,
Delaware 1942 porcelain, Florida 1986 and 2008, Idaho 1975 teal Famous
Potatoes, Wyoming Spirit of '76, and Alaska's Last Frontier.
REAL SERIALS
Each plate makes a random serial in that state's real format: Alabama's county
number, Texas' three letters and four digits, New Hampshire's long number. States
that skip certain letters skip them here too. Plates that split the serial around
a picture (New York's state outline, Texas' state, Tennessee's tri-star) keep the
picture in place and put the letters and digits on either side.
COUNTIES
Fifteen states print the county on the plate. For those, you pick a county or let
it be random, and the right county name or number goes where the real plate puts
it: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky,
Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, Ohio, South Dakota, Tennessee and Wyoming. The
other states don't print a county, so there's nothing to pick.
HOW TO USE IT
1. Put the zip in your BeamNG mods folder.
2. Open your vehicle's parts and find the license plate design slot.
3. Pick a state. For the 15 county states, pick a county or the random one.
4. Parts are named with the state's two-letter code first, so "TX" lists Texas.
