Universal Exhaust Tuning V3.2: Tune From Your Wheel, Read It at a Glance

This one is about using the mod while you drive. You can now step the main

controls from a wheel, a pad or in VR, and I rebuilt the app so you can read it

in a half-second glance instead of squinting at 9px grey text.

STEP KEYBINDS

Eight new bindings under Options > Controls > Gameplay: Volume Up and Down,

Tone Open Up and Muffle, Pitch Up and Down, and Pop & Bang Up and Down.

One press is one step (10% for Volume and Pop & Bang, 0.1 for Tone, 0.05 for

Pitch), and the new value pops up on screen, so you know where you are with

the app closed. Steps save like slider moves, and a press ends A/B compare the

same way touching a slider does.

LIVE LEVELS, NOW ON EVERY TAB

The exhaust and engine levels moved up next to the logo, labelled EXH and ENG,

and they stay there whichever tab you're on. Turn Normalize on from the Global

tab and watch the numbers land. The VALVE tag sits up there too when a drive

mode is working the exhaust valve.

A TICK WHERE STOCK IS

Every slider whose stock value isn't at one end now has a small tick at that

spot. Stock isn't always the middle (Volume's 100% sits about a quarter of the

way along), so now you can see the way back after you've dragged things

around.

THE APP, REBUILT TO BE READ

The old panel was hard to read while driving, so:

- Labels and numbers are bigger, and the little hints that explain a greyed-out

slider are bright enough to actually read now.

- The slider tracks are drawn. Turns out they never rendered before; you were

dragging a red tick across empty space.

- Buttons and text boxes have visible edges.

- The logo takes less room, and the logo and tabs stay put while a long tab

scrolls underneath.

- Pop int and Pop freq are now called Pops and Crackle. Same controls, same

saved settings: Pops is how hard they hit, Crackle is how long they keep

firing.

- The Sound tab's Tone section is now EQ, so it's not confused with the Tune

tab's Tone slider.

- Normalize says On or Off, and Reference shows dB.

- Less glow everywhere. Only the active preset and the slider handles keep it.

SMALLER FIXES

- No more "No adjustable exhaust" flash when you open the app or switch cars.

It says it's reading the car's sound until the car answers, and on a car

with nothing to tune it tells you why.

- Deleting a saved preset takes two clicks now, so a stray click next to the

name can't wipe it.

- Everything works from the keyboard, with a visible focus ring.

- The tune-code box stopped asking for old UEX1 codes.

- The scrollbar isn't orange any more.
