NEW Video Model | Seedance 1.0 Vs Kling 2.1
A new video model just came on to the scene from Bytedance, and their examples are pretty great - but how does it compare to leading models?
We compared results from Seedance (available on Fal.AI) against Kling 2.0 and Kling 2.1 for both text to image and image to image generation and the results are COMPETITIVE.
As always, feel free to leave any comments below!

And Kling is ruining me :D . I have the Pro plan, but keep on emptying my credit bank.
That's insane! I feel like I've been hearing a lot of reports about this from various platforms too like Comfy and ElevenLabs. Very bizarre, hopefully their support isn't too bad!
Hi! Thanks for sharing this video. Towards the end, the alien look must be how Bytedance's models interpret eyes :). Let me explain. I have been using and testing several AI Image models for the past years and lately, I have tested with Seedream 3.0 (Bytedance). My prompt: Captured Shot from above, high angle perspective, a young man looking up to the camera, short tousled platinum blond hair, green eyes, rapper, black t-shirt, standing on a rooftop, Montreal street style, urban skyline, golden hour lighting, editorial magazine style, desaturated color grading. Seedream made my character with alien green eyes. Another note: if you don't describe the subject physically, by default, Seedream will generate Asian people... I think we know where the training data is coming from :) . P.S. Too bad I am not able to attach pictures.
Hey! It's really interesting you say that, because the alien like blue eyes actually came from Kling (unless I am misunderstanding and you preferred the Kling version over the Seedance version). I haven't tested Bytedance models enough honestly, I've heard pretty good things, and Seedance is definitely promising I think. I think it defaulting to Asian kind of makes sense considering the Chinese origin - no different than models way back when going under fire for white washing.
