The second half of the series starts as Parn makes a fatal mistake for once: she rules out borrowing the money Mol owns from Peem, for has hundreds of millions Mol claims, because people will start thinking that she’s after her money, she fears. Mol warns her that if can’t find the money within seven days, they will both surely turn up dead. So, Parn tells Peem nothing of her predicament, and instead keeps going to baking class with Peem happy about it, then feeling that something is wrong and asking her about it. But she denies it and tells her she should go to work, so Peem kisses her and leaves. She later gets scolded by Phatcha for not telling her, and she claims she’s worried there because she didn’t tell her as she sorts out dresses to wear at the club. But Phatcha wants to know why she didn’t tell her. Parm explains that Peem still thinks she is selling her body and claims she wouldn’t understand. And if she told her and Peem wouldn’t allow her to come, what would Mol do? Phatcha is less sympathetic to Mol’s plight, arguing that she got in debt herself and now she expects Parn to help pay for it, claiming that’s wrong. She argues that gratitude is one thing, but if she breaks up with Peem because of this, she won’t be able to take responsibility. Meanwhile, Peem is proposing the shopping mall concept to David (played by Sun, who was Lada’s better brother Pheemwat in “The Water”), who had visited every one of their malls before meeting her – but right now, he’d much rather have a meal with her. She obliges, and he explains that he likes to have a meal with her because he likes to get to know her better, he wants to know what she’s like when she’s not working. He fears he’s being to direct, and Peem claims she’s not that interesting, but David claims she is, as he is interested. Peem returns to performing as the angel of the club, and Mol claims that if she sits with the clients for her at a few tables she can make ten million in no time. But Parn wants to stick to what they decided and claims she’s not accepting any client and she isn’t drinking. She’s only there to bring in clients and to entertain them, she’s not selling her time to anyone anymore. Mol knows and accepts that she gives all of her time to Peem, and is already grateful that she came to help her bring in more clients, but Phatcha asks if Peem won’t wonder why she’s going home at 9 p.m. like this, but Parm argues that she’s been working hard lately and comes home late every day because an investor from Singapore occupies her time. But after seven days, Parn guesses that she won’t be coming there anymore, as she doesn’t want to lie to her. Phatcha argues that she doesn’t want her to do that job for even a day, she wants her to live like a madam, comfortably and happily, and stay rich until she’s old so she can treat them to meals at expensive restaurants. Peem realizes that Parn comes home quite late, but she excuses it by lying that she was at the bakery trying to come up with recipes for things to sell. Peem apologizes for not having much time for her, but claims she’s busy lately. But Parn is okay with that and claims that she doesn’t need her help right now. Peem wants to kiss her, but Parn shies away, and Peem tells her to take a shower, arguing it must be a long day for her because she was learning and baking since the morning. She goes to shower, and eventually Peem joins her and gets frisky with her. In the morning, Peem leaves for work having made breakfast for her, telling her to do her best in class and to come home soon. But after Peem leaves, Techin calls her, and she goes to meet him claiming that she can’t accept the job anymore. Techin claims that she said it’s a separate matter, but she just feels uncomfortable doing this to Peem. But Techin claims that it’s really necessary this time, and begs her, until she gives him one last time. Thos waits for Peem, claiming that she basically disappeared, then realizes she’s with David, who excuses himself quickly, claiming next time, they can talk about the numbers. Thos claims that this is why she disappeared and didn’t answer when he asked her to play tennis. All this time, he argues, she was busy with that guy, who is gorgeous. She claims that he’s a Singaporean investor who is going to invest with them, so she’s busy. He claims he has seen the news all over his feed, even photos of them walking in the malls and eating together, and argues that they captured everything they did. He wants to know what’s going on, and she claims it’s not what thinks. Thos claims to have come all the way there because he thought she had gotten herself a boyfriend and wanted to tease her. He thought that she was head over heels in love and forgot to tell him about it, but it turns out that she’s still single. He was hoping he could introduce him to his friends. But Peem admits that she already has someone, and wants them to meet, but she has been busy lately, so she doesn’t have the time. But he wants to meet them regardless, he wants to see the face of the person that Peem loves. He proposes to meet up that evening at the restaurant, and thinks he should touch up his makeup a bit. But Peem waits for Parn after the baking class in vain, and eventually asks the teacher about her, but she claims that Parn wasn’t there that day having called in that morning. So, she arrives alone at the restaurant claiming she wasn’t there and couldn’t reach her. But he claims that it’s fine and they can meet later, and wants to show her the gossip of the day, claiming a friend of his ran into him at the hotel lobby, and he was with a woman – a pretty one as well, which surprised him because he thought he was gay. He wants her lo look at the photo who shows one of her business rivals, and eventually, Peem looks at it – and it shows Parn and Techin arm in arm. Peem suddenly rushes home claiming a stomachache. She waits for Parn to return late at night, asking her where she has been. Parm claims she was at baking class and later went to the shop to practice and is sorry that Peem missed her. She promises to cuddle after taking a shower and kisses her on the cheek before leaving for the shower, but realizes something is wrong with Peem. Peem tells an employee to keep her updated at all times, as we see Parn leaving the class and going straight to the club to spend her last day there, she claims, having already earned the ten million that Mol owed, and claiming that Peem has come home early for two days now, she’s afraid that she might get caught. Mol argues that Parn didn’t do anything wrong as she just walks around and greets the guests, and wonders whether Peem wouldn’t understand that. But Parn maintains that this will be her last day, and Mol accepts it. Peem is alone at home teary-eyed as she gets a photo showing that Parn has gone to the club, and she breaks down crying bitterly over the betrayal. Later, she shows up at the club dragging Parn away not wanting her to call her by her name with that filthy mouth of her. She asks her if she likes being a wh*re that much, is that why she lied to her and leaves, with Parn going after her. Mol gets notified that Parm and Peem are in a shouting match outside by Phatcha. Peem doesn’t want to hear Parn explanations that she calls the lie she made up to fool a fool like her. Parn admits that she was wrong, but Peem wants to know what exactly she did wrong – going to the hotel with Techin, lying to her, or coming back there to work? She accuses her of deceiving her, and thinks she is stupid, Parn claims that she didn’t mean to deceive her, she was just helping Mol out temporarily, as she really has no money. And with Techin, it’s not what she thinks it is. But Peem claims that she thought she had stopped getting involved with him when she started seeing her, so it’s really not what she thinks it is. But she didn’t stop, she never stopped. Peem tells her to pack her things and get out of her house, get out of her life. She doesn’t want to see her again and leaves. (That went well
) Later, she is back in her normal attire as Phatcha tells her to sit down. Mol offers to tell Peem that she was helping her pay off her debt, and Phatcha thinks it’s a good idea as she will probably listen to her, but Parn doesn’t think so. Phatcha asks what Parn will do know and is wondering if Peem will even listen to her if she goes back to apologize. Parn doesn’t know either but she will try. She goes home to talk to Peem, but she isn’t at her condo. She is somewhere else as she breaks down crying remembering her time with Parn, and Parn cries too as she remembers being with Peem. Peem argues that Parn lied about everything and wonders if nothing was real between them. The next day, Peem returns home, but Parn has already gone; as she remembers being together with her, she finds out that Parn has returned the expensive necklace that Peem gave her for the date with Songsak with a handwritten note saying that she doesn’t want to think that she was with her for the money, all this time, she truly loved her. Peem breaks down crying again. Parn has returned to her old flat with Mol and Phatcha, claiming that Peem probably doesn’t what her to live in her condo anymore. Phatcha wants to know when they will get to talk again, but Parn doesn’t think they will ever talk again, she thinks it’s over. Mol asks her if she has told her about Techin – and we get a flashback revealing that she posed as her girlfriend in front of his parents several times, to hide the fact that their only son is gay. He offered to pretend to fight so that he can claim they broke up afterwards. But she argues how could she reveal his secret. Phatcha argues that if she was her, she would tell Peem, she would tell her everything. She claims that if she tells her and it ruins him, that’s his problem, but if she’s not telling her, it is going to ruin her, and this is 100% her problem. Thos looks for Peem at her apartment and finds her lying on the couch. He first fears that she is dead, and it takes some convincing to let him know that she’s still alive. She thanks him for his concern, but Thos realize her girlfriend is not there, and she claims she’s gone, claiming that he wants her to stay only to rub it in her face that she was a fool, as she admits she was in the current situation. She leaves the room and starts crying again with Thos following her, and wanting to know if it’s really that bed, but Peem admits that Parn changed her mind about women like her mother as she used to think that sex workers were always after money, but she convinced her she was wrong, and now, she doesn’t know what’s real and what’s not, and she doesn’t understand why she did this to her. She admits that she’s fallen in love with her, she loves her more than anything else in her life. Thos tries to calm her down claiming that he’s there for her. Parn comes to the office wanting to meet Peem, but she hasn’t come in that day, and the employee recommends calling her secretary to schedule her meeting first. Meanwhile, Thos has taken Peem to tennis court again and gets her to play a bit – with lots of effort. She wants her to be like she was when she couldn’t close the deal with Songsak, claiming they couldn’t make it work because their needs didn’t align, and when she can’t reach an agreement, they should just break up and go their separate ways, arguing why would she date a bad person. The Peem that he know it chic, fabulous, and smart, she doesn’t care about anyone. He tells her to get back to her old self. Peem returns to the office and throws the scarf which Parn left there into the trash. Her secretary bring her the work for the day and informs her that David wants to schedule a meeting to discuss the price – and that Parn has been there every day to meet her, including that day. Peem agrees to meet her in the reception room. Peem comes in and doesn’t want an explanation; she asks Parn if her life was so hard when she was with her and wants to know why she had to accept the job again. Parn starts to explain that Mol needed money, but Peem claims that she asked her if she didn’t have enough money, and pushes her hard as she repeats her questions. If it’s so hard to be hers alone, she should just go back to being the angel of the club, and she should not show her face to Peem again as she doesn’t want to see the face of a wh*re like her. She leaves her alone, as Parn starts to cry again. (That went even better
) And she tries to bake again but cries throughout. Meanwhile, Peem is having lunch with Thos who praises her for doing the right thing, but Peem is not convinced. Later, Parn is with Phatcha and Mol again who try to console her by claiming she still has them. Mol wants to know what will happen to her shop with all the expenses she has to cover, but she claims it will work. She offers her to come back to work for her temporarily. Parn meets with Techin, who wants to know if Peem will be angry at her meeting him, but Parn admits that they’ve broken up, though she leaves the question of whether it was because of him unanswered. Parn deflects by wanting to know if he’s told his family they broke up, but he claims he hasn’t yet, he doesn’t know where to start as his family wants them to get married. David and Peem also arrive, and Peem sees Parm dining with Techin – and she loops her arm around David’s. Later, as they are sat down at a table close to Techin and Parn’s she intentionally hold his hand and claims she can eat anything at his regular place. Techin offers to move to another table – out of sight – but Parn claims it’s okay. They later leave as Techin claims to proceed as they discussed, and he will set up a date for her to meet his family. This is overheard by Peem and David, who follow closely behind, with Peem remarking that there are certain types of women he shouldn’t bring into his home, as doing so would cause trouble to his livelihood. She recommends that he shouldn’t introduce Parn to his family and wants this to be understood as a warning out of concern. She touches David and tells him they should have a meal together again sometime – and she kisses him on the cheek. Parn also leaves and follows her. Parn caches Peem who claims that she is together with David, and argues that who she dates is her own business as Parn went official with Techin too. She wants to know if her still pays her every time she gets in his bed, but Parn doesn’t honor this insult with an answer and just claims that she’s happy for her that she’s found someone good, and argues that they seem to be really compatible. Peem rubs it in further by claiming that it’s normal for people of the same level to be compatible, and argues that David is much better than her, and she wouldn’t feel the least bit embarrassed to be seen with him. She claims that it still baffles her how Techin dares to take a wh*re and introduce her to his family. Parn claims that she shouldn’t have walked up to her and wants to leave, but Peem tells not to tell anyone about them, as she’s ashamed of it. Parn agrees, and Peem lets her leave. David and Techin meet up in a hotel room and kiss each other; they land into bed and are obviously a couple. Techin argues hat lately his family has been keeping a close eye on him, because they want him to get married, and they are wondering if he likes men. But David claims it’s good that his family likes that girl, it help clear that up a little. Techin wants to walk outside and hold his hand without being afraid of anyone, and David claims whenever Techin is ready, he will be happy to do it with him. And that’s where episode 5 ends. _____ The first half of the episode was like watching a car crash in slow motion, where Parn was clearly wrong not to tell Peem about playing the beard for Techin and helping Mol. This lead to Peem being deeply hurt, and reverting back to her old self. While Techin and David clearly are no real obstacles, Parn and Peem need to communicate clearly and openly for once without getting angry at each other, and the preview for the next episode doesn’t give me any hope for that. But this was a good car crash of an episode, though I could have lived without this turning into a BL at the end. 😊
